they can't offer the 2nd rounder from the Eagles because it's not a definite 2nd rounder, it's conditional based on if he plays 8 games which he hasn't done since 2012

I'd trade our second rounder for RG3 then. Draft Cooper or White with #6.

Mariota could easily drop to the Eagles at 20. He might go early also but it's not unusual at all for a QB to drop suddenly when there are a few things the NFL has trouble reconciling, as Aaron Rodgers, Brady Quinn, Johnny Manziel and Teddy Bridgewater can attest.

When did I ever say that? You're just a Tebot making shit up now.

He's actually embarrassing himself the more and more he posts his nonsense.

It's almost as embarrassing as the Tebow nuthugging with him and I didn't think that was possible.

With all the focus on Philly, what if the Rams are the ones who are really after Mariota, and now offer Foles and a bundle of picks? They still have the 10th, which is much more attractive than the 20th.

But let's stick with Philly for a second.

Some here say Kelly would be happy with Bradford in his O. I dunno about that. A guy with two knee surgeries is someone I would keep in the pocket, and not have him running all over the field.

But for the Jets, as much as it made sense for the Jets to try and do a deal with the Rams for Bradford without giving up the sixth pick and hte chance to get Mariota, no way the Jets give up that chance to get Bradford.

As between Foles and Bradford, Bradford may be the better qb when healthy, but I take Foles any day due to Bradford's fragility. As it stands now Philly is in a worse position to deal with anyone, including the Jets. What team above the Jets would rather have a fragile Bradford than Foles? It would have been different if the deal included swapping the ten for the twenty, an the Jets would have had a hard time turning down that deal. SO in the end I can't really make sense of what Kelly is doing.

So maybe it's actually the Rams who will make an offer.

Was listening to Mike and Mike this am and I think it was Polian or Schefter who said that Kelly is so confident (I took it as arrogance) in his sports science gurus that they can fix injuries or avoid injuries better than anyone else in football. Funny his starting QB the past 2 years got hurt.

Maybe. But I would think Bradford is a risk even if he exclusively stayed in the pocket. I was talking to a Giant fan here about this, and he can't see Bradford running all over the place, either.

Kelly is an interesting guy. He could either make his approach work or be out of the league in two years. It probably won't be in the middle.

I think the 6th pick would be better used on a dominant OLB

We simply cannot offer the sixth pick of the draft for Bradford.

    Can't.

    Cleveland does have 2.

Best QB in the draft, but won't mortgage future to get someone like that.

    That seems almost hyperbole.
