    Ha! The part I was worried about was FA with this cat. Maybe is dumps a couple of picks but by all accounts he is a real force in draft personnel

    If he lands a QB in the draft (Winston/Mariota) or thru trade (Kaep/cutler) I think we can make a true run at the division

    I don't know if it's safe to say that, it's entirely possible Woody realized he f'ed up when Revis won a SB and the Jets completed a fourth straight season out of the playoffs.

    You gotta give Mac credit for the contract structure though.

    Guy has been in scouting in some form or another his whole career. If he blows the draft, that would say something....

    Woody didn't want Revis last year or the year before. But I guess he had a change of heart so therefore Revis is once again a Jet.

    You'll never get the real answer, especially with the tampering allegations Kraft is trying to push, all you will get it vanilla non answers that sounds like "it wasn't the right time"

    That is unless Idzik tries to save his career by writing a tell all book about his two year stint with the Jets, but even then you will only hear his side of the catastrophe

    Woody hated dealing with Revis and his agents. If Woody wanted to keep Revis then he never gets traded.

    We'll find out... So far though he's running rings around Idzik. Taking the long view doesn't mean you can't give credit where its due.

    Not sure I can say A+. He's paid these guys top dollar pretty much, perhaps over in some cases. Not sure the OL is better, just younger. A-, or maybe stretch to an A, but he's getting things done which is a start.

    As someone said further up, it was FA and contracts that were the likely areas of concern with Mac, so at the moment I'm cautiously optimistic.

    After two years of Idzik I have to be happy..the money went fast but if we get Cro or Gilchist we will be back to having a top 3 defense in the league. Now all we need is that QB to fix the offense the same way.
