  1. Pick him in a heart beat

  2. Swap with Philly for their 1st (#20) another pick in top 4 rounds and Foles

  3. Swap with any team with a top 20 pick, a 3rd or 4th rounder, and their next year 1st rounder

  4. Would swap, but it would take more than the offers in the poll

    You can't do worse than Geno. Comparing him talent wise to MM is a sin. Lets see what this kid could do, I am sure better and certainly no worse than Smith.

    No, not realizing the similarity is moronic.

    Smith, BIGGEST QB TALENT MUST HAVE talent coming out.

    Great stats, Read the pre draft scouting reports.


    His pre draft rating was 88, immediate starter, pro bowl potential. Better than Mariotta.
    But hey don't take my word for it...

    They both benefited from QB friendly offenses in college, whose advantages are negated by the elite talent at the pro level.

    And...Mariotta's closest exposure to a real offense was the National Championship game, the biggest game of HIS LIFE.

    and he folded like a cheap tent, particularly after getting hit by Joey Bosa on a continuing action, (no foul) play.

    Mariotta, is rated lesser by NFL.com, than Geno Smith, yet you think he is worth drafting 33 spots higher.

    Both players can't carry Sanchez' jock and he got ridden out of town on a rail.

    and before you rebut, prior to being drafted, the four playoff, 3 time AFCCG appearing NYJ QB, did exactly what in his biggest college game ever???

    Compare the players.

    • Mark Sanchez became the third quarterback to pass for more than 400 yards in a Rose Bowl Game, with 413 yards. The others were Wisconsin’s Ron Vander Kelen (401 yards, 1963) and Oregon’s Danny O'Neil(456 Yards, 1995).
    • Sanchez set a Rose Bowl record for completion percentage, at 80%.[2]

    Anyone favorably comparing Geno Smith as a college player and Marcus Mariota as a college player based upon a rating by a blog or a draft guide or a website or NFL.com did not see either player play in college.

    Favorably comparing the two players as college players is moronic.

    Geno in college was way better than Mariota in college... Not even close.. Mariota choked when it mattered.

    Geno went IN during the Orange Bowl... Granted they are not the same game from a pressure standpoint, but still...
