    Doesn't matter when he has 2 guys in front of him. I think he would get more looks here with chan, both in the run game and as a receiving option behind a rather 1 dimensional ivory.

    I don't get he jets putting Powell above vereen and spiller. It's truly a smoke screen to use as leverage in negotiations.

    Powell is the inferior talent as we no doubt will end up w vereen or spiller I'm very confident in this. I'd be thrilled with either with a preference to spiller.

    If Buffalo wants him let them have him. He's been a third back for us since he's been here.

    The RB class in the draft is deep.

    Agree. Sometimes we overvalue our own players as do all fanbases...if we lost Powell I really wouldn't shed a tear.

    I don't hate the guy I just think there are obvious upgrades available. And if we didn't land 1 of them I'd be truly shocked.

    If this were last years rb market id be perfectly content keeping him.

    If that were the case we wouldn't be hearing that Maxwell and Suh already have contracts in place in Philly and Miami

    I have heard nothing about the Jets reaching out to anybody other than scrub QBs Mallet and Hoyer.

    Is this what Macc meant by being "very active" in FA?

    Orlando Frankin has a deal with SD, it sounds like. Guys are getting scooped up all over the place.

    This is starting to feel like Idzik v 2.0.

    I'd be fine with Powell on a deal in the area of 1.5-2M/yr, not much more. I'd also like to see them draft a RB at some point if they go this route though
