Just read the news. Imo it's pretty simple: Late round pick and it's a good deal, early pick or multiple picks and it is overpaying at it's best. Still excited to see what he can do for us. Would have prefered Cobb.
1. Marshall 2. Decker 3. Kerley I like it! I will add that Marshall was AWFUL for my fantasy team last year. I mean terrible.
Better not be anything more than a 4th. I really dont get this trade. Getting older, coming off an injury and has a personality disorder. Not worth it like he was in say 2009. This shouldnt mean we are done at the WR position. If he had problems with Cutler throwing the ball to him imagine what he will think with Geno. Should be fun.
This is great news. There was no guarantee we were getting Cobb or Maclin and Marshall will probably be cheaper than what they would require. Not to mention we can still draft a WR since Marshall will be 31 this year.
This allows the Jets to be flexible on draft night... lets hope Mac addresses the secondary in free agency.
We're well on our way to another 3 pick draft lol. Hopefully this isn't a 1st, 2nd or 3rd, that would make me ok with it.
Don't like his attitude, he's getting older and he's not cheap and has nobody to throw him the ball. But on paper our receiving core looks good. Guess we aren't drafting White or Cooper. A WR maybe but doubt it's a first rounder.
That is still a huge priority for sure. With all the talent in this upcoming draft, receiver should still be targeted early.
