I would be very happy with signing
    McCourty
    Maxwell
    Cro
    Brandon Graham (OLB)

    Resign
    Harris
    Snacks
    Extend MO

    KEEP harvin

FA wise this would solve our D and i would feel very comfortable with a D with these additions going into the season

Draft Wise, I would draft mariota or winston at 6 and a WR in the 2nd Hopefully Jalen Strong, mid rounds can be OL help

I would be so happy with a team like this but no matter what happens im remaining positive and really trusting the jets :) think we have the right staff in place this time

    Fuck Harvin

Get a blue collar potential Hall of Fame running back in Murray. Get an offensive line that none may rival.

i know this topic has divided a lot of fans, its a hard choice, now if they go out and get someone like murray with harvins money sure sign me up but there is no guarentee and it scares me if decker gets hurt were back to basically nobodies as WRs

No you don't. They don't need Suh. He's a psycho.

    He'd be our psycho, though.

I don't know if it's realistic but it'd be awesome.

Maybe for about 5 minutes before he was suspended.

Meanwhile our offense still couldn't score and our secondary would still be getting torched. I don't even think it would work. I'm not sure he'd be willing to play NT in a 3-4.

we need 2 out of the 3, McCourty, Maxwell, or Cro (1 is a lock already). Would be pretty sweet if we had all 3. Sign another above average linemen and draft a qb and receiver. get kyle wilson out out of there and leave millner as the 3rd corner until he proves something

Whats interesting about Suh is that they restructured his contract before and it was so backloaded that they couldn't franchise him because the franchise tag would've been an outrageous number, something north of $20 M this year.

It's interesting because Ben Roethlisberger and Pittsburgh will face a similar situation next offseason. He's in the final year of his contract which was backloaded and the cap hit for him this season is like $18 M. Next offseason they will be screwed if they don't come to an agreement and won't be able to franchise him unless they want to screw themselves over. It's possible he could become available in the market. These Jets will still have money to spend in 16. Could we take a receiver at no.6., build up the rest of the roster this year and plug in a 34 year old Big Ben in 2016 to finish his career a Jet and make a run at the SB?????

It's a tuesday morning in the offseason guys- we have to dream something up to get through the day!

McCourty should be the #1 FA target.

If what Mehta is reporting is true, it looks like a lot of our hopes are gonna be dashed, because Woody has learned little, if anything. He's meddling with personnel. I hope Mac tells him to shut up and let him do his job.

Here's a funny quirk: the Patriots are below the 4 year salary cap floor of 89% (currently at 82%) but they're 14 million OVER this year's cap (according to Albert Breer - including Revis option). So they literally can't do anything to get closer to the floor.

Shocked there's been no mention of Andre Johnson. He's a name, and would come here on a short term deal, which would free us up to draft a pass rusher. If Geno couldn't get it done throwing to AJ and Decker, I think we'd have our QB answer in time for next year's draft.

Suh would be a waste of (a boatload of) cash and blow a hole in our budget for the next 5 years. We have the cap room now, sure, but that can evaporate in a hurry. He's a luxury we don't need and can't afford.

As others have noted, he's also a loose cannon who can't help himself. It's only a question of when not if he'll have another run-in with Goodell for an in-game QB stomp or some other incident.

If Macc actually pursued this, it would be a colossal mistake.

I am hoping we don't pay big bucks for Byron Maxwell.

According to PFF, I saw that he was like the 48th overall ranked CB. Watching him play, I think he's solid but not great. He benefits big time from the 2 all-world safeties behind him and a very good front 7.

If it's true that he's going to command something on the order of $9 M per, I think that's too much.

The Colts have almost as much money as we do and they are just one of the teams we will be competing with for these guys, you're crazy if you think it will be easy.
