Fuck. The last thing we need is him in New England.

Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reports that Harvin isn't expected to take a reduced deal to stay with the Jets, and that the New England Patriots are interested in his services.

If the Vikings want him back, maybe we can trade for Peterson.

NE isn't dumb enough to overpay him.

perhaps not, but they love nothing better than to take players from under our nose.

I don't think so. They can barely make Revis and McCourty work. He'd have to take a huge paycut.

That said, I think what's more important is whether or not he's on our team, not where he lands if he isn't.

I dont know exactly their situation but i do know they have some key players becoming FAs this offseason. I dont think they would be able to keep revis, mccourty and vereen while adding harvin.

If harvin is really this resistent to a paycut, then i wouldnt worry about NE signing him. Maybe a team like cleveland or oakland with a lot of cap room and a need at WR.

I dont want percy back at 10.5 mil. Send him packing and go after cobb/maclin

This is agent talk. Call a reporter and create a market.

And continue the dink and dunk game with him while they're at it...

I'll believe him getting that money when I see it tho

Well from what I've read lately, McCourty and Vareen are likely gonna hit the market.

Well that's that, no shot the jets pay him. His contract is awful, he's the third highest paid reciever in the nfl. It's a joke, thanks again idzik for another brilliant decision. Lol

I thought the move was great. No hurt to us and the potential for him to restructure.

Obviously, now he seems he won't, but why was it a bad decision? What negative effect did it have on us?

Harvin would be a great pick up for the Patriots. He would fit right in with their offense. But no way they pay him 10.5,

We were 1-6 and going nowhere fast. Now we are out a draft pick for 7 meaningless games.

why does every wr get linked to the pats yet they never do anything other then sign a no name bad wr and make a role for them and then they waste a 2nd round pick on a wr that no one has ever heard of and then cuts them 2 years later
