BOL to him but I doubt he can make their team. The ship has sailed on Vernon. IMO with his physical talent and good speed they should have changed positions for Vern. I always thought he could have a future as a tight end. Guys with no experience but great physical attributes like college BB players like Antonio Gates have made it as TEs.

If you're bad at managing your money it probably doesn't matter if you have $100 or $1,000,000. You'll make the same mistakes, just on a larger scale. There are often fees, maintenance costs and taxes associated with purchases that people don't consider. They take the price for face value and don't think about it.
If it's for money, that's sad. But if it's because he thinks of himself as some kind of underdog who is going to give it his all in one last shot, it's cool to watch.

Why not? The Jets continually gave Geno Smith and Mark Sanchez multiple chances after both resoundingly proved they couldn't perform at an even perfunctory level. Secondly, the Patriots and their fans never hesitate n'or feel nervous about 6th round picks. Interesting, don't you think? Just saying.

This +1. I watch a lot of college & this kid dominated at Ohio St. His #s at the combine were off the charts. Someone in the JETS organization just failed the psychoanalysis aspect of the evaluation. From day 1 the guy was a quitter. Good riddance. Hope he's broke as he made me so damn mad.
