I'll say no for the Jets....

But it's an interesting debate for the Broncos. On one hand, does Peyton still give them a real chance to win it all next year (will they get pre-STL-game Peyton or post-STL-game Peyton)? On another, would the team be better off in 2015 and beyond if it freed up all that money that would go toward resigning some of their many key free agents (Demaryius Thomas, Julius Thomas, Orlando Franklin, Terrance Knighton, Rahim Moore)? Keep Peyton, sacrifice key parts of the team... Cut Peyton, retain perhaps all of the team's core players...

No??? why no? Peyton in his last days would be light years better than anybody we've ever had in their best years. If Mariota falls to us why not sit him a year behind this beast?? Let him learn and we can all feel more comfortable about Mariota (or whoever sits behind Manning) being the guy the following season after being mentored by the boss PEYTON!

If Peyton Manning is available, you GET HIM. Period.

We'd have the cap space for it as well.

Lol forhead isn't coming here. He would retire if the broncos cut him.

Honestly, when you put it that way, I would probably choose the latter if I was them.

Kinda similar to the choice the Colts had to make before selecting Luck. They could've kept Peyton and gotten an amazing haul back for that #1 pick.

If Im Denver and it was those players or Peyton you say goodbye to him and keep a pretty talented team intact. Sure Osweiler is a huge downgrade from a healthy Peyton but it might be worth it for them to see what they have in him for atleast a year. The guy probably knows the playbook inside and out and will still have a great cast of weapons around him.

If things go south the worst case scenario is a top 5-10 pick in next years draft and you pick a QB which you'll probably need anyways even if Peyton is back with them in 2015.

Either way difficult choices coming up for Elway. I think if Peyton hits the market though atleast 10 teams including the Jets will be chasing him hard.

..Or maybe play for O'Brien in Houston.

They have all the things Peyton would want....
    1- Good receivers
    2- Top notch RB
3- D that is ready to contend
    4- Offensive minded coach
5- Warm/indoor stadium, mostly warm weather games

I don't want him as a Jet. it would be another favre signing but without the team around him. I did have a curious thought though, what if Rex get's him in Buffalo? That defence with Rex is scary enough but adding Peyton and fixing up the oline a little should make them immediate contenders..

The only reason I would want him is to hold the fort while a rookie developed. I think he's pretty done outside of that role. I don't want any rookie qb starting out of the gate and washed up Peyton Manning is better than geno will ever be.

It looks like Elway really might want to shake things up. First Fox and maybe Peyton who they just might not want to pay 20 mil. As for him coming here he won't do it. He maybe would go to the Bears and a coach he likes with very good skill players. But not to a team rebuilding plus he didn't want to come here out of college. Parcells wanted him to come out so he could draft him and he wasn't interested then.

Wow your world must be all rainbows and butterflies. Peyton would never come to the city his brother plays in, and Mariota is not lasting until 6.

If we are gong to go to our happy place, why not trade Kyle Wilson for Aaron Rodgers?

Or maybe Indy will cut Luck? I heard his third cousin lives in Queens and he LOVES NY.

You're half right. Manning isn't gonna play for the Jets, but Mariota could very well be there when the Jets pick.

Why bother now? The time to do it was two years ago when the team's talent was good; instead we have Sanchez an extension.

This would be a great situation for Peyton if the Broncos cut him.

First off i didn't make the thread, so don't act like i just picked this topic out my ass to excite people. 2nd since when was us getting Mariota at 6 a fantasy? He could easily be had there, in fact most reports is saying he will be available there. All that other shit you said was just you making up shit idk why you wasted your time doing that because i said nothing in comparison to those dumb situations

That is a really good point, easy division too. The colts team is dogshit when it runs into a balanced team he would be right back in the hunt.

This is a joke..no wonder it came from Bleacher Report. You gotta love their mobile app and their website is pretty cool but this is basically making shit up for clicks. If he passes his physical he's back, let his arm rest up the rest of the year and gear up for one more playoff run.
