Didn't see this mentioned in here.

Jace Amaro tweeted "I must've forgot how smart Todd McShay is."

He has since deleted it, but nonetheless Jace likes Mariota over Geno.

I hope so....just don't have a good feeling about Winston. Tough to say what Lovie does here...

If it's not Mariota, my hope is for Gregory or Ray....If not the QB, I need the pass rusher. I need Sacks!

Forget about Mariota. Love reading the discussion between 101 and Stokes. I am on Stokes' side but I love reading 101's comments as well. Well done guys. Keep it civil and make us read a wonderful thread while we enjoy our aged cheddar cheese and fine wine.

Ever heard that phrase "I don't care to belong to any club that would have me as a member"?

    Yeah that.

Full disclosure, I was totally wrong about the Eagles have two first round picks.
It's the Browns who have the 12th and 19th picks.

I still think if Mariota is available, the Jets should take a pass.
Or at least see what they can get for that spot.
I'm not the camp who think he's the one to lead this team back to the playoffs.

I'd rather give Geno the help he needs and then see what he does.
Despite the evidence to the contrary, I believe Geno can be a functional QB, if he's given the weapons.
I really don't want to invest more on a maybe.

    Oh really.

So what's your plan to fix the most fucked up QB situation in the NFL?

    Hahahahaha great plan.

They could still sign Hoyer and even blind drunk Johnny Football could give Geno a run.

If you were to compare 2005 Aaron Rodgers to his future self it would have been pretty outrageous as well.

Maybe you are confusing Stokes and I as I brought up the Alex Comparison before the Football Outsiders article. But note what I said about his ceiling too.

Who do you want at # 6?

Alex Smith has been my comparison as well. I never understood the Kaepernick comparison. I dont think Mariota has the fastball that Kap has, but I do think he has a higher IQ and obviously has better touch.

A more althetic Alex Smith is a fair comparison I think.

Not doing the same failed thing over again.
