So, my main comment about the SB is, the season is over. About seven months til Opening Day. 14 was a bad yaer for the NFL no matter how much money they made. i don't go all apocalyptic, but big sports have deteriorated in the past when you thought they were still on teh way up. It's hard to tell if things have really reached a turning point until you're past it and see that it really did turn. Look at MLB. It's not hard to see in hindsight how the labor troubles, drug enhancement scandals, took a baseball bat to the sport's rep. Yea it's still popular, but not so much, and socially and culturally does not have near the relevance it used to. One has to notice the growing concerns about head injuries, especially for young boys playing the sport. That imo is a growing problem (although one it will be seen is shared with other sports like soccer, field hockey and on and on) that will lead to some decline in players pursuing the game. But the more immediate problem is I don't think the NFL knows what to do about its perceived credibility problem. I think it's very real. And at some ponit I think the NFL takes a big hit for it.

Hey I'm a sinner like anybody else, I'm right there with you buddy, I would be the first one staring at the screen, salivating like a dog if she popped out of her outfit, DVR'ing it like some horny teenager and, well, you know....at least I would be tempted as hell to do all that.....but I happen to know better in my old age now. I know that that kind of behavior leaves me feeling like shit afterwards, empty, and alone....there's no substitute for a real relationship with a real woman who actually exists with you, as opposed to an image on a screen. I hate pornography because it's so damn addictive, and it's so hard to resist the temptation to waste hours on it, going blind and wrecking your psyche in the process.....it's been shown to have negative psychological effects on people, even adults, and the porn industry is notorious for abusing women, even raping them, and hooking underage girls with drugs. Porn should be illegal and the government should go after these LA companies and shut them all down, if the people in charge had any balls, but they don't and there is so much filthy money in it.....just sad. A corrupt, dirty, embarrassing underbelly in our country, along with the closely linked abortion industry. There is still evil in the world as bad as the holocaust, but just like the holocaust was for those horrific years, it's still largely hidden. (btw, 70-80% of America still has traditional values, the "moral majority", another 10-15% are young people who don't know any better yet, and the remaining 5% or so controls the media which they use to try to brainwash us and increase their numbers)
They put a lot into Katy Perrys performance I thought it was a pretty good visual,but with that said ......next year they should get away from the 13 year old girl music and go with either Jay -Z ,Linkin Park,Eminem,Rolling Stones, 13 year old girls don't watch the NFL
As Chris Schenkel would say: Bring back the "color and pageantry" of the marching bands, drum majorettes, and flying batons. I would actually watch that stuff because I'm a color and pageantry kind of guy. I actually watched the entire game without watching even one minute of pre-game bullsh*t, I had the sound turned off for the entire game, did not watch any of the halftime, did not watch any commercials or any interviews. I finally turned the sound on for the post-fight pageantry at the end of the game. I'm telling you, it's the only way to survive watching NFL football without throwing sh*t at the television.
