Wow, Super Bowls sure ain't what they used to be. The halftime show was great if you were between 12-25. I thought I was watching the disney channel for a quick minute. How did Missy Eliot rate a SB appearance? Another mystery. Katy Perry was ok. Pretty bland though. Nothing to look forward to I guess when it comes to the commercials either. I noticed a lot of commercial time bought up by NBC pimping their shows. I guess they either couldn't sell the time OR rejected every edgy commercial submitted. All in all, this could be just another regular season game. No real buzz, no excitment. Unless something happens, this SB will be one of the more forgettable ones..

Yeah.. for a football game, its ok. Just doesn't have the "feel" that recent Super Bowls have had. The commercials and the halftime show just wasn't what I expected. The Game? Nice to see Brady get picked.

C man - with all respect. You are a great poster on here, but have to disagree. It was one of the most exciting and balanced Super Bowls ever. I have seen every one and this ranks as a great game to have watched. I went to 10 straight Super Bowls, and in all honesty, half time shows were always this for me and my brothers: Get up, rip up the audience placards they put in the seat cushion, take a piss, and get in the beer line, get back before 2nd half begins. Who the hell cares about the half time show?
I enjoyed the ht show. The commercials have sucked since forever really. Its hard to top the daily craziness that is YouTube and other daily viral media today.
I hated the halftime show. I like Katy Perry and I would do very dirty things to her, but that show was the crap I hate. It's not about the music, it's about the "show". Last year, Bruno Mars was awesome. Loved his performance because it was simply his talent on display, not some dumb ass lion and dancing sharks.
The Half-Time show was decent, but the commercials were atrocious besides the Heisenberg and the Budweiser puppy ones. I wish the Super Bowl would just be a game instead of an entire event.
If the commercials didnt go for the "I love you" and "I need to cry right now" angle I think they could've been ok. Wow what a pussy country we've become. And no Katy Perry boobs? COME ON!!!! If the Jets arent playing in next years SB I really might not watch. Dead serious.
I love football, there is no way I skip out on the biggest game of the NFL season. The only time I ever thought about not watching it was when New York played New England. But I still watched the entire thing.
The original go daddy commercial was pulled. Google it. It was about a puppy and people complained . I'm being serious.
I hear ya, but to me its barely football. And maybe Im just speaking out of rage but its like I was watching a movie tonight instead of an NFL game. If its a blowout I dont mind, but if every other year I have to decide if this is the best Superbowl of all time or not then it makes me a little skeptical. Im not old enough to remember any SB before maybe 1997...but those games were just games. Little bit of drama and you accepted the team winning..but now its like you have to go home with a story line that takes you up until next season.
