And because he didn't know, he shouldn't take a fall for it?

The same argument can be made for Sean Payton. How did that excuse pan out for him?

The point is, you are the head coach of your football team. Whether you knew or not, it is your responsibility to know and if you didn't, it is your responsibility to take the fall for it. That's part of being the "leader" of your team.

And for the record, I highly highly highly doubt the head coach didn't know his team balls were being deflated. That's very hard to believe

It shouldn't matter, the HC is always accountable.

We all know that the patriots footballs were deflated and the colts footballs weren't. We also know all the footballs were all tested for the correct PSI prior to the game.

Based on that I think it's preeeetty safe to say the Pats deflated them.

Some of the fans were upset at the dumbness of belicheat: Quote "it's not about one half of a football game

ravens brought it to colts attention, most other fans already claiming that we must have done the same thing in that game

look, if you know the rest of the league is out to get you and you still behave in a way that gives the impression/perception of impropriety then the backlash is on you."

Even if Jesus himself came down and pointed the accusing finger at Tom and Bill, Pats would be talking about "no evidence"

It's pretty clear now the league will do nothing to its beloved Patriots.

All we can hope for is a Seattle win.

Something going to be done and I look for it to be bigger then spy-gate. Now I don't think anything will be done that effects the SB.

I was reading somewhere else that as a punishment they should make the pats do a few seasons on Hard Knocks. That would surely drive Bellicheat nuts.

So 11 out of 12 balls were under-inflated in this game... And teams have noticed and suspected this in the past... Something is clearly wrong here. They're doing something.

he pretty much saying he had no idea and that one person might have the answers you are looking for. Again I think its Tom Brady. Brady is the QB, he KNOWS about balls. IF Brady comes out tomorrow and plays dumb it will come back to bite him I think. A QB of all people will know when a ball is different or not.
