No ..I've been hearing this stuff about Marrone since his days at SU...that's why I was so quick to warn everyone here about how he is....before the negative news finally hit the NY papers....after all the swooning about what a great hire this guy would be.....

I called that BS when he said Marrone was a QB for the Monarchs. These guys are all a bunch of story tellers.

Schefter, or it didn't happen. Till then, we might as well listen to "insiders" on this site, it carries just as much weight.

Yep, and La Conforma (spelling, but since he doesn't fact check, I'm not gonna spell check) called him a QB. (BTW- Sorry I quoted you on the last one! I thought you were talking about something different)

Whatever you want to say about Marrone. He got $4 mil and a one-way ticket out of Buffalo. Not bad!

This might be the only factual thing to come out in the news about Marrone since he left!

Marrone's offense in the last 3 games vs. Ryan's vaunted defense put up 43, 38, and 37. Just sayin.

    off of how many turnovers?

    2013 at Orchard Park:
D allowed 30 pts, we turned it over 4 times.

FG to make it 3-0 Buf in 2nd qtr began at Buf 42.
w/ Buf leading 10-0 Geno fumbles, Buf takes over at NYJ 4
w/ Buf leading 17-0 Geno throws INT, Buf begins at our 27 and kicks FG.
w/ Buf up 27-7 Geno throws pick 6

same things happened in 1st meeting this year which was game Geno got yanked in.

they beat us up in Detroit though.

    Very misleading.

37 points were helped out by a pick 6 and a 4 yard TD drive

43 points that came on only 220 yards. Included a 1 yard TD drive

Last game included a 16 yard TD drive and a blocked punt TD. 330 total yards.

All this while facing a depleted division 4 secondary coached by Rex Ryan.

^Man, I really wish I had guys like you to make excuses for me where I work. I'm sure Rex Ryan is secure in the knowledge that if he ever has to commit blatant homicide, his fanboys will run over each other to point out where it was everyone else's fault but Rexys.

Lol excuses? Those are facts. Fanboy? I wanted Rex fired. He deserved to be fired just as Schwartz deserved most the credit for Buffalo's success. If anyone is a "fanboy" it would be you for being up Marrones ass.

sometimes you have to take a step back and look at what actually happened. His Ds did not play well but the O was setting the D up for failure at least in the first 2 losses, the 3rd one was mostly on the D. Either way why couldn't he do this against other Ds? sometimes a team has anothers # like Miami w/ us in 2009. we were better but they swept us.

I remember the Geno fiasco game last year where he got yanked, Marrone was so conservative that the Jets were really still in the game despite all the mistakes. I remember thinking I disagreed with that style. Of course, he ended up with a 20 point win, so he knew more than I did.

He got a lot of heat for that game in Buffalo for being conservative as well.. But hell, if the other team is just going to give the ball right back to you it makes sense to be conservative. Why risk anything when you don't have too.

Michael Kay is grilling Mehta on ESPN Radio right now. I'd give it a listen if you have a couple minutes.

Listening to Michael Kay (of all people) killing Manesh Metha (is that even difficult) over his reporting on the Marrone situation

Kay stating as lot of obvious positive things about Marrone that many (espeially those posting here) are twisting or disregarding
