    Are you high right now?

You do realize that coach asked for an EXTENSION and the Bills said no... Right? As in, he wanted to stay longer, and the Bills said no.

Marrone wasn't a head coach with the Jets or Saints...

Their stadium is in a former Jersey swampland which is only a few steps but barely above Buffalo. True. But it's a NYC State of mind.

I'm amazed at how much the bills fan cares who the Jets HC is.

Yet he didn't bring Hackett with him to Syracuse either, since he and Hackett had never coached together before.

He only brought Hackett with him once before: to the Bills. There is no reason to believe he'll do it again after how poor the Bills offense was this year.

He hired Hackett to Syracuse. And then from Cuse to Buffalo. He has never head coached without Hackett

    He loves the guy.

Btw, did you know that Marrone was asking the Bills to give Hackett a contract extension and that's part of the reason why the Bills said to F off? Hum yeah...

Can you enlighten me? Where did he bring Hackett from? Marrone was on the Saints before Syracuse. Hackett was a quality control coach for the Bills at the same time. What am I missing?

Had they even coached together before?

Oh I see what you're saying. I thought you meant he wasn't in Syracuse. Gotcha.

Either way, Marrone loves Hackett and wherever he ends up cosching Hckett will be there as well. He was asking to get Hackett an extension up until he opted out.

Crazy considering how horrible he is

You're not smart enough to understand the argument.

I guess we'll see. I'm sure he loves the guy but the Bills offense clearly regressed in 2014 and some of that has to be on Hackett. If Marrone gets a HC job I bet Hackett doesn't go with him; could be wrong, of course.

He actually tried to get new 2 year contracts for his entire staff not just Hackett. With no raises. He wanted to start on a new cycle with new ownership so he isn't a lame duck next year if the owner wants to replace all of them. And then he'd be screwed with no leverage.

Don't know how anyone could want Marrone after Kubiak in general let alone after tonight. Guy is calling a gem.

    Yeah. It is pretty tough.

Buffalo wins more, but blah blah blah.

He didn't have any leverage as it was lol.

Wanting to do anything but fire Hackett was hire final undoing.

    It's all on Hackett.

And as I said, considering he wanted Hackett extended, he's going with him wherever he goes

He may love him like a brother, he also may stab him in the back in a blink of an eye if it meant coaching in the NFL or not. Again don't pretend to know what's inside his head when you have no clue.

I would be very surprised if Woody let another Hackett call plays for the Jets again.
