Yeah, for all the hype Rex gets as a defensive genius, the bills under Marone and with kyle orton as QB put 43 points on Rex in one game this year.

I disagree. If you're in the public eye and you allow yourself to participate in a freak show like that you're an embarrassment. I don't care if he does it just don't be an NFL head coach or get caught.

This is a very fair analysis.

Ive seen a couple of bills games this season. Hes certainly no offensive wizard, but what can one expect with Kyle Orton? Lets not forget the Bills best offensive weapon was old man Freddy. Maybe we can catch something nice with Marrone, but its essential that we surround him ( Or whoever else) with the right pieces. That starts with the draft. I dont see the clear perfect fit ( especially for the HC spot) that a lot of Jets fans are waiting for. Its just not there this year. Sure, there could be a nice diamond in the rough so all we can do it hope for it at this stage.

    Adam Schein reporting:
    1. Marrone would be a great hire for NYJ
    2. Polian didn't take Bills job because he wanted to work with Marrone

NYJ need to hire this guy!

I can only imagine what you though when Woody's daughter married Tila Tequila.

Hell no. Hire a competent gm. Let him hire a competent hc.

It would be strange to hire Marrone, his opting out of the Bills is odd in itself and he isn't really considered a big name or hot prospect based on his 2 years in Buffalo. This would be a tough sell to the fanbase. Many would view this as a downgrade from Rex, justifiably so

No. But Woody went to a Jets game the weekend of her funeral. I have a big problem with that.

What Rex does on his own time, is his own time. I don't give a shit.. I care about football, since, ya know, this is football we are supposed to be talking about.

Again.. For the last time.. Nobody gives a flying fuck about what he does on his own time. I don't care about what Marrone does on his own time, I care about weather or not he is a quality coach, there is nothing that suggests that he is a quality coach. I don't want him anywhere near my team.

That is the bottom line. Grasp the concept man.

That in itself is way worse than anything a dude and his wife do with their feet.

Agreed. That's the main reason I don't want Marrone. Or Tom Cable or Gary Kubiak for that matter. Those guys have been linked to the Jets' opening as well. In fact, Cable and Kubiak were fired as head coaches before, so that makes them worse that Marrone. But I'd rather have one of the hot coordinators, like Quinn or Bowles, those guys have much more upside potential. And if not, we can just fire them in a year or 2 and start over. Better than getting stuck with a mediocre former HC who's too good to fire, but too bad to win a SB.

Stokes doesn't usually leave much gray area, lol.

I'm not sure what to make of him either. He doesn't seem like a horrible option like many are suggesting though. I really think that's the reaction we'll see no matter who it ends up being because people love Rex. It looks to me like he turned around a shitty Syracuse team and had the Bills on the right track too. He helped Pettine get hired as a head coach and Schefter also has high praise for him.

Funny people crap on the guy whose teams are showing an upward trajectory all while wishing for the guy whose team was getting worse every year. Those two AFCCG LOSSES from half a decade ago really infected some brains.

In all honesty I'm on an I-phone and wrote this (the foot fetish stuff) and then deleted it but it came up anyways. So even though I was never thrilled with the coach of my team being involved with this creepy stuff I wasn't going to bring it up. But since it was posted I followed up on it. A head coach of an NFL team is expected to conduct his personal life and not be an embarrassment which is what this is. End of story from me. I think the guy is a clown.

Common sense probably. The more it sinks in, the more obvious it is how bad a move it would be.
