    He does have a ring as an NFL GM. Unhappyjetsfan on TGG is obviously a better source though.

    I'd leave my job if I knew quitting netted me a cool $4 million. I'm not fully for or against Marrone, but how is this about anything more than double dipping and essentially getting an extension elsewhere? All the vitriol is just comical, as well as Can Grande's haikus.

    Aw chill out, and go find a sense of humor while you're at it. ...... and Rex brought us to 2 AFC championship games (with Mark Sanchez no less!), more than Bill Parcells did, or any other Jets coach for that matter.

    I think Marrone did a good job with the Bills considering their QB situation was even worse than ours, but he's another ground and pound, conservative caller. Why do the Jets insist on this nonsense in a passing league?

    The Jets will always need a strong run game so long as we play in an outdoors stadium. That said, I agree we need to significantly improve our passing game, but not at the expense of our running.

    More I think about it, the more I think Bowles has to the guy.

    What he's done with that AZ defense this year has been impressive to say the least.

    And the guy went 2-1 as an interim HC with the freaking Jags.

    Look at the results, look at the man.

    The guy exudes calm, winning, and confidence.

    His players love him and like Rex he'll maximise whatever talent you give him.

    After reading some of the posts here I have no idea about this guy. I am not from the East Coast so I have no idea what he did at Syracuse. He must be Satan the way you guys talk.
