Hire Quinn, but Tanny has to come aboard solely as future Revis negotiator...

Again, given my lack of knowledge of FO personnel, I have to trust in W&C. I don't think they could have reached out to Harbaugh without it having been tampering. I don't think inexperienced coaches can't fare well. Rex did well first two years, the Harbaughs came in and coached exceptionally well. Mike Tomlin too. It may be the exception rather than the rule, but...

Why because he got bent over so well in the past?

So everyone is from Seattle just because they won a Super Bowl. And that's the expert advice he's getting.

I think Quinn is on the top of their list and it is just top priority to interview him while they are on their bye week.
And then you may as well kill 3 birds with one stone and interview anyone you have interest in while you are there.

Don't expect the whole process to end there, just the first step.

That's a better reason than ...because they have won nothing.

I think they have done pretty well, in a short time, with young players. Seattle really sucked not long ago. I don't know if they'll be great HC's, but they have shown ability.

I'd like to interview Kubiak. He's a year removed from the Texans and a good O coach. But again a mistake to not have the GM in place before the HC.

The only problem with Kubiak is almost all the success he had was when he was an Offensive Coordinator for the Broncos when they had Elway, Terell Davis, Shannon Sharp, Rod Smith and Ed Mcaffery....

He did some nice work with Houston but routinely got destroyed by NE which is discouraging.

Aren't we already talking to Bowles from Arizona? Probably has more to do with wanting to be seen talking to someone in-house, I doubt he's a serious candidate.

Jets line up five coaches, including Gary Kubiak
Posted by Darin Gantt on December 30, 2014, 9:18 AM EST

The Jets are busy lining up interviews for a pair of jobs, and already have five candidates in mind for the coaching vacancy.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Jets have requested interviews with Cardinals defensive coordinator Todd Bowles, Seattle assistant head coach Tom Cable, Ravens offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak, Chargers offensive coordinator Frank Reich and Seahawks defensive coordinator Dan Quinn.

Kubiak’s an interesting addition to the mix, as he has the most experience of the lot.

He was 61-64 in eight years with the Texans, making the playoffs two straight years before things fell apart in 2013.

His offensive skills would benefit the Jets in many ways, but then again, the same could be said for many candidates.
