http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_NFL_quarterbacks_who_have_posted_a_perfect_passer_rating It's been over a year since any Qb has had a perfect passer rating. After going 4-12 we should celebrate the small victories. Whether or not Geno starts ever again, he played quite a game.
In the National Football League (NFL), the highest official passer rating that a quarterback (QB) can achieve is 158.3, which is considered a perfect passer rating. To qualify, a QB must attempt at least 10 passes, have zero interceptions, and have minimums of a 77.5% completion percentage, 11.875% touchdown passes percentage, and 12.5 yards per attempt. The passer rating was developed in 1971.[1][2]
Although this cost us 2 spots in the draft you have to give credit when credit is due. To all the miserable jet fans that hate anything and everything... Here's the pro bowl flashes he was suppose to show lol
Great game by geno, no doubt about it. The fumble was retarded but you can deal with that when the qb is making plays downfield and throwing td passes. where has this offense been?
Fun fact: Geno is one of 10 Qbs to have a perfect game AND a worst possible passer rating in a game (0.0). I'm pretty sure Geno had that against Buffalo this year. The other 9: Johnny Unitas, Joe Namath,Terry Bradshaw, Len Dawson, Bob Griese, James Harris, Bob Lee, Craig Morton, and Eli Manning.
I know this doesn't mean anything for the future but can we at least enjoy this moment in Jets history? The Jets just had their 4th Qb with a perfect game ever. Namath had one, Obrien had 2, and Pennington had one. That's a pretty good group to be hanging around.
