Cooper is a great prospect. If we miss out on the top QBs and he's there that's a no brainer decision.

I wouldn't mind if they tried like the Bengals did and grabbed him in the first and grabbed a QB in the second-- ala AJ Green and Dalton. Cooper is the next AJ Green

Winston has played against 8 top 50 defenses this year. (3 top 10 and 5 top 15). You have no idea what you are talking about.

Im sure Winston is a great QB and all as people here are saying and as scouts are saying but the off the field issues are a MAJOR concern especially with the media we have. Sanchez and Geno had no issues off the field and got ripped apart by our media. With all the WInston drama and such im scared it could be a nightmare before he even plays a game. I know the stuff Winston did wasnt all true about the rape thing etc etc etc but it just brings unessecary heat on him especially in ny

What's sarcastic about it? If we miss out on Mariota (No Winston, please!) then yes 100% get Cooper. Guys a stud. I'd love that core next year. And I'm serious when I say to go get Petty in a later round. He can run a pro style offense. Bring in a FA QB and let Petty sit. As long as we don't go into next season with Eugene, and get someone who isn't either washed-up or broken, we can have a Bills-type season like they have had this year. And I'd be okay with that.

Amari Cooper or bust. This was a great break for us, Oakland was a team with a huge need at WR

On the other hand, Winston is used to national media attention and constant ridicule and it doesn't seem to phase him. Yeah, the kid is immature and he certainly needs to stop it with the off-field issues, but saying he won't succeed b/c he can't handle the NY media is ludicrous.

minus harvin pls. unless he works his contract hahaha but harvin is on his best since its really a "try out" . i'd take that and invest in a better cb corps or a good guard. but if he does rework that'd be pretty sweet. Lets bring in a qb who can actually throw the ball. I'm not expecting anything next season tbh but i want to watch some good football

I admittedly haven't watched Petty enough. I worry about how playing in that offense would translate to the NFL though. Also Baylor purposely plays cream puffs in the OOC and the Big 12 in general doesn't have the best passing defenses... I have concerns about him.

But like I said though- I haven't watched him like I've watched the other QBs so I don't want to be unfair. I'm assuming you've seen him a lot.. How does he look in the pocket? Does he keep his downfield vision while moving around the rush? Does it look like he reads defenses? I would value your thoughts

Well i think we have to Rework his contract. I wouldnt wanna keep him at 10.5 mil a year but reworked i will take him. He will thrive even more with Cooper here next year, same with decker. Its like a domino effect

Yeah youre right. I havnt looked too much into Winston so i am not writing him off or on just a couple things i picked up
    1) The dude know how to win.
    2) The interceptions this year are a bit concerning to me
    3) Off the field issues
    4) Can be great or can be bad i am really stumped on him

yeah that'd be stacked if we can somehow get harvin on board. i dont think it'll happen but theres a chance since no one wants to pay him that 10.5 mil. we just gotta beat other offers.

this will all fall apart if geno is still the starting qb. made too many excuses for this guy, we should only start him if we are planning to tank again

i'd say we sign someone like hoyer and then concentrate on getting some cbs and rebuilding some of that oline.

Cutler might be the worst option of all for the Jets. He is terrible, has a horrible attitude, and can't handle pressure in the pocket or in his head. He might be the worst value at QB is the NFL with his bloated contract. I'd rather stick with Smith another year than $30 million on that loser for two years. Total waste of money.

hahha sounds like a bust candidate to me. i'm really stumped dude, this guy is a winner. he has never lost a game in 2 years! but also i guess we dont know how he'll deal with losing. i'm not too sure about this pick tbh, it might be a blessing in disguise that he is gone.

also jr smith would immediately hook this guy up

I don't see why you say that because I've seen from multiple people that Winston is far and away the best player and only not first due to character concerns.

QB is gonna be interesting to see what we do, as for off season moves besides QB
I hope we sign Chris Harris (CB from Denever)
Mike Lupati (Might be spelled wrong hah)
Suh (??????????????) pipe dream but said he wanted to play in NY and a Dline with MO,Suh, and sheldon would be unfair i mean i think it would the the best in history.
and then draft a CB round 2 or 3.

that should give us plently of depth with Milliner, Chris Harris, McDougale, 2nd round pick.

Harris signed an extension with Denver. No longer an option.

He's quietly been the best corner in the league this year.

i feel like we need to get cbs with more experience. chris harris would be a good pickup, but i have no faith in milliner and even less faith in mcdougle. we can both agree that kyle wilson needs to go hahaha

suh would be pretty neat on the jets but i'd rather sign a good ot/og instead. we've been getting pretty decent pass rushing, its our corners that are the issue. if we cant defend a short pass, suh wouldn't even matter. plus snacks is pretty serviceable, our run d is pretty good (but too much don't bend but break defense)

i'd say our fa priorities go like this

    1. qb
    2. #1 cb
    3. og (to replace colon)
    4. #2 cb

and we draft cooper because wr is also a need of ours regardless of keeping harvin or not
