Well, thanks!! I'm sure I'll annoy you before too long...And, really, Matt Robinson?! He's no Richard Todd... ;-)
Cakes, I've noticed that you're not color blind so you may have noticed my handle is in Red. That makes me an Admin, not a mod. Get it right. Secondly, I really don't post here for your approval so I couldn't give a shit one way or the other what your opinion of me is. However, since my being black seems to be an issue that YOU pointed out, let me assure you that I was black yesterday, today and tomorrow so deal with it. Take some time off from here and learn how to deal with your issues. Don't bring that shit around here.
Agreed its not only him, dropped passes, false start penalties, terrible oline play, receivers that can't get open...my biggest problem though is the coaching, I hear Westhoff say the same thing every week throw the ball down the field to take 9 guys out of the box to make your best weapon Chris Ivory more effective...
Fucking A. Why don't more people see that??? You're basically asking your inexperienced QB to play with a third of the field against 9 guys and blaming him solely for INTs. But some of that is because they realize the OL won't hold up and the receivers aren't going to get open in time. I watch other offenses. The QB has time AND the receivers get WIDE OPEN consistently. Neither happens frequently with the Jets offense.
Joe Montana didn't have a great arm he would take a 3 step drop and arc the ball deep and let the reciever run under the ball
I think Geno has had some accuracy issues. But, I think the issue is that the receivers prior to Harvin just don't win enough at the LoS to stretch the LBs out of their zones. Or he doesn't see them quickly enough. And I know he has issues with getting through the progressions. How much of that is him vs. not having time (because of the sieve that is the OL or the slow receivers) is unclear.
I will never forget Lesally Woodyard cost us a top 2 pick in the draft. He single handedly screwed us.
