He's definitely done, and I don't see any Vermeil type resurgence from him taking so much time away from the game but then coming back and achieving his previous success. The game has changed a lot since he retired.
I'd have to research it but his last staff is likely all over the league by now. Constructing a new staff after so many years is actually very difficult, especially a decent one.
So harbaugh took his talented team into Oakland (who just last week lost to the rams 52-0) and lose by double digits to the raiders. This is the guy you want. Oh wait you gonna tell me every given sunday huh. Don't be clouded by his deceiving resume. Guy got blessed with a talented roster. But think jets fans think, you really want him here? Lol.... .... Man oh man. Imagine what he'll do with a talent-less team. His specialty is dealing with the offense, QB in particular, lol yea that offense is doing pretty well eh. With three #1 wrs, 2 headed rb monsters, an all pro TE, and a qb that just got paid big bucks due to his dual threat nature that has worked for them in the past. Let's not forget that dominant o-line. Yea, harbaugh is the solution. Let's bring him over to coach the Jets. Please I rather have lunch everyday with kotite than pay big bucks to have that guy waste years over here.
I cant believe you guys would want this clown. Despite having great players in San Fran, his douchbaggery is so bad that every single person that works with him hates him. Do you know how hard that is to accomplish when you're winning? He would be the perfect fit to continue the Jets circus. I would laugh so hard if he was coaching the jets next year, and I'd laugh even harder if you traded for him and gave up picks.
yeah, because great coaches have never had down years? try looking up Bill Walsh's record before even attempting to make that asinine argument.
That's not the point. The point is there is a chance, which I 100% agree on, that his success is a product of his talented roster vs his leadership/football smarts. A guy like Bruce arians I'd rather have over harbaugh. Harbaugh has been blessed with an All pro team. Come on which coach wouldn't perform with that level of talent. No way are the 49ers a reflection of their record. I don't want him here coaching my team because I believe he is a product of the talent.
Doesn't look good... https://screen.yahoo.com/nfl-now/jim-harbaugh-interested-raiders-trade-142913652.html
Why the fuck do we want a coach that lost his players when there in the middle of a playoff pic? Makes no sense to me at all.
The guy turned losing teams at SD and Stanford into winners in college, but at the pros it's a fluke when he does it. Suuuuuurrrrre.
Wait, wait, I have an idea. let's just keep everyone we have (players and coaches), from top to bottom. The only way we can go is up, right?
I'm in the Bay Area on a trip (missed the Jets game) and listened to the Niners pre and post game shows after the Raiders L. They're talking about firing him now. They don't like him much in the first place and they hate losing to the Raiders esp coming off of a 52-0 beat down. Btw they also think Greg Roman is incompetent and puts out the most simplistic O game plan in the NFL.
Why the fuck would you want a guy that has won many games with average QBs, and was the first coach to go to 3 straight championship games in their first 3 years. I mean why would you want him right?
Co sign but the Raiders scare me, especially due to the fact Harbaugh watched Carr basically assault his defense today.
