DOH! Lol Of course, you're right. I was thinking it was his brother, but it was him. Guess it's just his abrasive personality and arrogance. If he leaves SF, I'll wager he goes to Oakland. I'd be completely stunned if the Jets get him.

Was that while Kubiak was winning back to back Super bowls as OC for the Broncos?

I'll take Sexy Rexy back for one more year because he had to coach a team with about the 28th out of 30th most talent in it in the NFL over the past two seasons.
If/When he does get canned I think it's Harbaugh or bust. Mazhlan would be supported, but probably as unrealistic as Harbaugh..I could see Greg Roman trying to get the gig but his offense has looked terrible this year.

If we're stuck in a dreaded scenario where Idzik stays Rex goes, you know Quinn and Bevell jump to the head of the line. Quinn>Bevell imo, Quinn's resume is more legit but I really wouldn't be excited with either.
I'd make sure Briles gets an interview..Bowles is a strong candidate. Not really buying Gase I think he's still developing and gets the Broncos gig when Fox is out.
I do promise this if Kyle Shannahan is our next Head Coach I'm bolting to Oakland with Rex, Revis, and Mo Wilkerson.

If Jim H goes anywhere it will be to Michigan, they are in the market for a new HC

To me it's Harbaugh or Malzahn. Gase will be a hot choice too, but to me Gase (like Decker) is a product of Manning. Manning just makes everyone looks great.

Any love for the Colts' Offensive Coordinator Pep Hamilton? Every time I watch a Colts game, Luck is throwing to wide open receivers. I love his game plan. Not sure how much of it is him and how much of of it is players.

What has Kubaik ever accomplished as a HC in the NFL?

If I'm bringing in someone with prior NFL head coaching experience, I want someone that has accomplished something in the league. If we have to change at HC, then it should be for someone that knows what it takes to get to the SuperBowl. Someone that understands how to consistently put together a winning team and go deep into the playoffs.

The guy only made it twice to the playoffs, never got past the divisional round. In 8 years as a head coach.

You really think Kubiak is the guy to turn this team around?

Woody will promote Bradway to GM again and name Brian Schottenheimer as HC. Hooray offensive head coach and presnap fullback motions!

The better question is who can we get here as a GM? But on board the Harbaugh train.

I don't necessarily love it but I don't hate it either. The OL would need to be almost completely rebuilt though to fit his zone (cut) blocking scheme. Chris Johnson is probably gone but he would thrive in Kubiak's system. I wouldn't take a RB early, I would worry more about OL as he makes star RBs out of nobodies.

I will say that he would bring something we haven't had in the Rex era- a defined offensive identity. And the style- quick finesse lineman, patient zone reading RBs, screen passing game, is an identity we used to have here with Martin so it would be fun to watch.

Imo the Jets need to get their house in order, meaning who is the GM and will Woody continue to meddle in football decisions, before anybody with any cred and talent would even consider coming here. Just watch the interview process if Woody does not fire Idzik.

The 49ers GM and Hardbaugh hate each other with a passion and don't even speak unless they absolutley have to...This according to Mike Francesa
