Favre got hurt. I guess that's the same as sabotage though. We didn't even bring up how much of a mistake that was.
you're making fun of a guy who has 48,000 posts on a message board ( junc, that is crazy bro) yet you raised money to put up a billboard calling for your favorite football team's GM'S job? Without having met you or learning anything else about you, I am 100% certain you are the biggest fuckin asshole in the world. Bar none.
You don't even realize why this is funny/ironic, do you? You really are one of the... most special... people I've come across. (I'm trying to be nice mods)
I don't buy that excuse, had weak sched, no Brady and Favre made his career out of playing through pain. he played awful football and killed our chances. he doesn't get the injury excuse the same way Sanchez doesn't even though he was hurt late in 2011. If you do give them the excuses then that is a plus for Tannenbaum.
But the organization needs him. Without his billboards, the Jets would never change GMs. Sonny Werblin would be running the team from the grave.
ROTFLMAO - Favre had a torn tendon IN HIS THROWING ARM. "Carl Lewis is a pussy because he didn't win a gold medal this year. Sure, he had his leg amputated earlier, but still you have play with pain."
he was throwing the ball just fine, he was making bad decisions like he had most of the year. No excuses. did he play? he's judged on how he played and the man wanted out of here and didn't care at all.
You're a broken record and nobody (literally nobody) agrees with you. But please, continue to post nonsense.
I couldn't care less if you or anyone agrees with me. It does boggle my mind how Jet fans can back Favre who did nothing for us and bash Mark who helped us nearly get to 2 SBs.
He was throwing the ball just fine? Does anyone else besides me remember the pass that he severely underthrew in Seattle that pretty much lost us the game to what I think was a wide-open Coles? He was not throwing the ball just fine and it goes beyond just that Seattle game.
Favre had a partially torn tendon in his throwing arm that was causing pain but had nothing to do with his range of motion. That's right, Mr. Ironman-Fight-Through-Pain all of a sudden couldn't fight through the pain. The corrective surgery after the season was over was basically to completely sever the partially torn tendon and leave it severed. Didn't seem to bother him in the following two seasons.
Manish Mehta just gave a bunch of ink to the billboards in his latest hatchet job on Idzik. I think Manish should be the GM.
So, if I understand you correctly ... he played bad when it hurt ... and played great again when it stopped hurting? And this disproves my point how?
Your point was empty to begin with. But let me try. Brett Favre spent his entire career being labeled as a guy who could play through pain and win games. His main problem was that he took too many bad risks when the game was on the line. That's why he lost with the Jets, not because of a booboo that didn't affect his throwing motion.
What are stupid? I'm not sure, what are it? There are plenty of tendons in our bodies that don't affect range of motion. I've already made my point. You're not able to grasp it. What are stupid?
I feel you... for real nobody that left the jets had done good. They all fit perfect here, this was their system. Braylon, Cotch, Brad Smith, Leon Washington, Keller (injuries i know), Shonn Greene, Thomas Jones.... none of those guys did that well other places... cotch had a few good games in PITT thats about it. Thing is all those guys could be had for cheap. We split up chasing after Nnamdi. That was when EVERYTHING went down hill. Chasing fucking Nnamdi.
