vick will help keep the opposing offense off the field, i think that really helped our defense last game. lets keep helping the d while rebuilding our secondary.

Disregarding Vick's ethical issues on which I am well spoken, I see zero upside to Vick as a QB mentor unless he is grooming another Vick prototype. If he isn't then what does he bring to the table? He has shown that his best days are behind him and he wasn't prepared early in the season. Hell, that last part should be a deal killer for everyone and SHOULD have led to his release if Rex had any balls.

if the current path continues yes.

if he slumps, well, we'll see. so far he's passing the audition for another job, if not here than somewhere else.

Depending on the CS. Vick if he fits the system but still a Vet QB for 2015. Would love to Draft Mariota but don't want to trade up for him. I like Hundley and Cook but I think Cook might stay another year in college. I also like the idea of drafting a kid like Petty from Baylor a little later in the draft while filling our other holes with quality from early pics. Any drafted QB I would want to spend a year on the bench learning the system and the NFL.

Good hold the fort players aren't major injury risks.

Move on to someone like Hoyer.

    Hoyers had some injuries too…

he might be the only guy I think has more to him as a starter than vick though. IF he's available, shoot.

otherwise? its either the injury prone guy we know or the injury prone guy we don't.

    that would be…something to see.

the humbled and grown trouble maker and the potential young trouble maker… to put it lightly.

If he plays like this, sure. I am assuming we are going to be in position to draft a QB, it would be nice to have a real person competing against him and even playing while he sits on the bench and learns

That's actually not a terrible idea.

Bring back Vick until someone legitimately takes the job from him... or he gets carted off.

Bring back Vick to 'mentor' Marcus Mariota. Show him the real NY. Dance clubs, SNL, booger sugar, whatever. That's what he's been hounding for!
