I didn't appreciate Steeler fans trying to take over our Stadium

Those Steeler fans yelling Heath and seeing a lot of yellow Stadium really pissed me off, thankfully our fans there really drowned them out after a while.

Do you expect any different? Our fans no longer want to go to the games.

All our fans were flying planes with banners over the stadium

The Steelers are the most well traveled fan base in the NFL. It happens everywhere especially when the Steelers play teams in the north east region.

I don't appreciate the team almost breaking the franchise consecutive losses record.

If was pretty funny though, all of those Steelers fans had exactly zero to cheer for until the third quarter, I had almost forgotten there were that many of them there.

Watching the game in the comfort of my own basement, I didn't appreciate it either. I mean, where are the true Jets fans? Made me so mad I got up and fixed some nachos, which I knocked down with a cold beer.

When you're good for an extended period of time, you acquire front running bandwagon fans across the country, hence all the Steelers, Packers and Cowboys fans from their dominance way back when.

In about 10 years we'll start to see the entire country in Pats and Colts gear as the young bandwagoner generation blossoms into adulthood.

In all fairness it's not bandwagoning if you choose a team as a kid and stick with it.

When the Steelers are winning - you see black and yellow EVERYWHERE. When they are losing for some reason you never see those ugly jackets..hmmmm

I guess frontrunning is the better term.

So every 30-something around the parts of the country not named Texas that latched onto the early-90s Cowboys as a child is cleared of any bandwagoning charges, counselor?

It's sad really. Show some support. Everybody knows the team is bad, how about we fill the seats and watch our favorite football team instead of staying home and leaving it to opposing fans, while we fly stupid planes degrading our own franchise. That whole "rebuilding since 69" shit was unnecessary. How about you show up and make some noise for your team. Spend the money you spent on some selfish "advertisement" and feed the homeless or something.

I think anyone who made a decision when they were 10 years old and stuck to it for the rest of their life is a fan regardless of geography.

The definition of fandom should really be defined here. I've known dozens of people like I described that basically call themselves Cowboy fans since they jumped that bandwagon and barely watch the game or follow the team.

There are those few fans that choose a team that was a winner when they were a child and stick with them like glue, following them closely for years, but in my experience, most of those are people that just want to throw the name of "their team" out there and wear a t-shirt with the name on it while they talk about anything but football during a game.

Casual fan/Hardcore fan? It's pretty easy to tell. Just ask a Pats fan who the QB was before Brady. All I can really say is the ones that don't want to talk about football when the game is on aren't allowed in my house on Sunday.

Flying planes does not degrade a franchise; poor drafting, bad trades and stinking on field performance degrades a franchise.

10-15 years from now there will be Patriots fans that jumped that bandwagon that you apparently consider to be real fans by your current criteria.

How is a kid picking a team and staying a fan of that team into adulthood bandwagoning? Bandwagon fans are the ones with a closet full of Super Bowl winner jerseys or people with Revis Jets and Pats jerseys.
