I look at the viable QB options for next year (Veterans) - here is a potential list of QBs, I think the Jets should look at via free agency.

    - Matt Moore
    - Mark Sanchez
    - Jason Campbell
    - Brian Hoyer
    - Ryan Mallett
    - Colt McCoy
    - Austin Davis (RFA)
    - Sam Bradford (if cut)

    Potential QBs via Draft
    - Marcus Mariota
    - Jameis Winston
    - Brett Hundley
    - Garrett Grayson
    - Sean Mannion
    - Kevin Hogan

List doesn't look all that appealing, so would you bring Vick back on a 2 yr deal (doubt he takes another 1 yr deal) to continue the development of the offense (Decker, Harvin and Amaro look to be playing very well with Vick).

Only condition is if you vote yes, you are voting him AS A STARTER.

If he continues to play at a decent level where he won't lose us games then we should bring him back on and let him play while we have a rookie on the bench learning.

I voted yes with the caveat that this is assuming the CS is back. I'm all for maintaining continuity when we can.

I never want to see Geno Smith out there as our starting QB ever again. If we draft a QB within the first 2 rounds, I would take Vick back, health is a big concern but if we upgrade the offensive line we could look to protect Vick a little better increasing his chances of staying healthy.

YES. Been saying it for weeks. Draft a QB and let him sit behind Vick.
To me it's a no brainer. Why wouldn't you bring him back?

I voted yes because there was no "maybe." Sure you'd like to see what he can do. We want a good veteran Qb here next season whether we draft somebody or not. He could be the best guy available. And if he has a good year the guy who signed him gets credit, too. Btw if Vick plays well he'll want more money. He made 10 mil last year with Philly and I'm sure would like to recoup some of those lost wages.

Depends on who the coach is, or at least who the OC is. If we keep Rex, which we should, and he keeps Marty, then 100% bring Vick back assuming he doesn't implode these last few weeks. Draft a QB in the first or second, let him learn for a year and then let Vick walk to start 2016. He'll be 36 by then anyway. The timing of it all is actually pretty perfect. We just actually need to get that first or second round QB. Mariota, Cook, Hundley are really the only I'd consider worth stashing.

Yes, Mariota in the first, Vick on a 2 year contract that won't be a killer if we cut him after a year.

It depends on a few factors. Mostly, how he performs throughout the rest of this season. Also on whether we bring in a new coach and/or GM. If he does well and he fits in with the new management, then sure, keep him onboard.

He might be the best guy to have starting in front of a rookie. He'll perform well, get the team wins, get through the period that the OL and receivers need to get acclimated after the offseason, and then get hurt after 8 games. This will leave a rookie in a great spot for success. Might've worked wonders for Geno this season.

Draft a QB in round 1, resign Vick to hold the fort while we groom said QB.

If MM is still the OC then yes. If we move on from the current CS I think I'd prefer to try Bradford out and see if he can stay healthy. Young and injury prone > old and injury prone. I think. Maybe.

Out of that list, I'd perfer Moore, Sanchez, Hoyer, or Mariota. Vick is better than the rest for sure, but that's not saying much.

I don't see why we shouldn't. I want to see a QB developed properly. Don't just throw him out there to the wolves. Give him a year or two to sit and learn behind a veteran who has greatly matured over his time in the league and has had much success.

I voted no. Although I think he's probably more talented than anybody else they can get, Vick demonstrated pretty clearly that he was only interested in collecting a paycheck and didn't care enough to be prepared to play if necessary. You can't have someone like that on your team (at any level from Pop Warner to the Pros); it's a cancerous attitude. They should dump him and go get someone who wants to be here.

Let's see how the rest of the season goes. I don't particularly like Vick, but it does seem like an option if the aim is to draft a QB on day one or two.
