If we had a competent coach how is Vick being repeatedly flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct? Not to mention Rex unloading on the refs. Typical Jets almost pissing the game away. It happens all the time. The win kept the Jets out of the wretched record book, but, Rex still needs to go and Idzik too.
The team had 4 turnovers but only scored 20 points and all of it except 3 in the first half. The D was good and it was lucky. But that's the way it goes in football. Look I'm not complaining. I'm happy. But you can't consistently win with that kind of O. Don't want to tank games to get a better draft pick. That philosophy to me is total bullshit.

I'm glad the jets won, and regardless of their record I am always rooting for them to win. But why do you characterize them as "fighting hard for Rex?' Every athlete wants to win any game for the sake of pride, plus they are getting paid a fortune to play. You imply that they would NOT have played hard had Rex not been the coach which I think is a stretch. And if it was "for Rex" as you say, the horse is already out, too late to close the barn door,
