Rex drafted what he considered was two franchise worthy QBs as HC. Most HCs only get one shot. Also, Rex's defense is the worst in the NFL in multiple of areas and he is suppose o be a defensive genius. Fire the guy already!
Yeah pretty much everything Ive said so I agree with it. Harbaugh isnt suited for the NFL. Says more about the players these days being overpaid babies then anything else but still. Any Jet fan that wants him is just looking for the flavor of the week. They go from one extreme (Rex) to another extreme (Harbaugh). Personally Id rather the guy that makes the locker room fun for the players then the guy who makes it like a military camp.
Harbaugh revived Alex Smith's career, helped Luck become the player he is today, and then made Kaepernick a competent starter. How many quarterbacks has Rex revived/successfully developed?
Because he and Tanny drove a good team into A ditch with the moves that he had a big part of. The only reason Idzik is here is because of Rex
He also has a roster so deep with talent and has had good qb play,Rex would win with that roster there's no doubt in my mind
Rushing D ranked 7th and passing D ranked 12th for the talent we have in secondary I would say that genius.
I would sign Jim Harbaugh in a second. I really think he is one of the best coaches in the league and he can do wonders with QBs. The guy saved Alex Smith's career. I really dont see him leaving the 49ers though. I think they cave and give him the money he wants.
How was the 49ers QB play before Jim Harbaugh showed up? Alex Smith was a laughing stock. He went from press conference melt downs about how poorly he played to being one of the most efficient QBs in the league. He took a freak athlete 2nd round pick QB and has turned him into a player. Kaep his first year playing won in the playoffs and went to the superbowl. Jim gets a lot of credit for the 49ers team. No team wins without talent.
Why does Rex need to develop a QB?you people act like football players are helpless idiots who need a coach to teach them everything,Some guys want it more then others ,some guys have it some guys don't.Geno Smith isn't a NFL starting QB ,Mark Sanchez could have been if we put better players around him .One Man can't be responsible for developing 53 grown men,you have to want to get better and inspire yourself to do so.And even then you can try as hard as you can and give it your all but sometimes guys just are not good enough plain amd simple. The problem with this franchise is we always need a scape goat we had success early then we started firing people and gutting the roster.Brain Shottienheimr led Sanchez to his two best years then we fire him,MrT had only one losing season in his tenure as Jets GM and we fired him,Sanchez was undermined and destroyed then we cut him,Rex is next there's zero stability here the franchise is a joke
That why we are not winning.
That's a joke there's plenty of talent on this team you are clueless, the problem is we don't have it in the two most important positions QB and CB we have two unknowns starting a cb witch makes life hell for the defense .You can't do certain things on defense without two corners you can rely on Chris Ivory Percy Harvin Eric Decker Sheldon Richardson David Harris Demario Davis Chris Johnson Mo Wilk Snacks Jeremy Kerley Nick Mangold D Brick Jace Amaro There's plenty of talent on this team it just isn't at every position and that's a major issue. We have no secondary literally
Jim Harbaugh also use to be an NFL QB,Rex is a defensive coordinator that's there strengths.Hardbaugh knows the qb position being that he played it,Rex knows defense his whole family coached defense. Most people don't even know Hardbaugh played QB in the NFL
So you think Harbaugh could've taken Sanchez and developed him into something more? And Geno as well? Luck was a star by the time he got to college. He benched Smith. And Kaepernick is a flash in the pan. Anyone who thinks he's a top QB is mistaken. He had a good run when Davis was a top TE. He's overrated. Better than what he have doesnt mean he's very good. These days he has more bad games then good games.
This post is not pleasing to the eye, anyways. Why would you want a coach, who openly admitted he has no clue about offense? You do realize that the HEAD Coach is reponsible for the development of the WHOLE team, especially the QB position right? Rex's lack of offensive knowledge alone makes him an AVERAGE coach at best. There's no around it , offense is one of the three facets of the game and if he doesn't have a clue about that there's no way in hell he can be considered a good coach. As for Harbaugh, what was Alex Smith before he got there)Oh right a bust! Harbaugh completely transformed him, and because of Harbaugh Smith is a competent QB today. Oh yeah that Andrew Luck guy, well he was developed and grew under Harbaugh as well! Jim has already developed three Quarterbacks, so how can you possibly sit here and say Rex would be just as good of a coach as Harbaugh. Yes, the Quarterback has to have talent, but it's the head coach's job to helped that Quarterback's talent grow and it seems as if Harbaugh has mastered that.
That's a joke there's plenty of talent on this team you are clueless, the problem is we don't have it in the two most important positions QB and CB we have two unknowns starting a cb witch makes life hell for the defense .You can't do certain things on defense without two corners you can rely on Chris Ivory- agree Percy Harvin- only been here 2 games so can't really count him now Eric Decker- been hurt most of the year Sheldon Richardson-agree David Harris-overrated Demario Davis-agree Chris Johnson- not what he thought he was going to be Mo Wilk-agree Snacks-agree Jeremy Kerley-agree Nick Mangold-agree D Brick-agree Jace Amaro- not sold on him yet. Drops to many. There's plenty of talent on this team it just isn't at every position and that's a major issue. We have no secondary literally
We have no one that scares anyone on this team but Harvin.
Not for anything but do you ever think that he runs his locker room like that for a reason? Between legal troubles with Aldon Smith & Ray McDonald, Vernon Davis whining about his contract, his quarterback engaging in twitter battles with fans, and other such problems I understand why he's become a dictator with these guys. They lead the NFL in player arrests over the past three years.
