Silver lining is it's 5AM where I live and I can go right to bed instead of being angry all day about this shit performance
As I said during the game. He is absolutely, 100% worth a 4th round pick. There's a case to be made that his contract is excessive and we should re-structure, but this was a great trade. Dominant and great production even though we're the 32nd ranked passing offense.
The only thing I worry about with him is his health but he is a weapon unlike anything this team has had in a long time. An absolute game breaker who can do it in a variety of ways.
If we get a competent QB our offense will be good. Harvin/Decker/Kerley/Amaro/Ivory is a nice core for any competent QB.
Sign a couple new lineman and find a QB and the offense might be decent. The defense needs a lot more work than that though. A lot.
silver lining..... ....we clean house and hire a new crew that al the least gives us some hope.... ....very high draft pick (top 3) and the thought of us getting a franchise qb..... nothing else.....nothing else....is a silver lining....
And let's be honest, if the defense shows up in the 1st quarter it's a much closer game and we might have even won. KC had 21 points in the 1st half, that's the most they've had in one half all season.
To be fair I didn't even know who the hell was in our secondary until the 3rd quarter. Maybe #41 didn't get the memo that he was starting until halftime. Think about this...how bad is Kyle Wilson that a converted safety and 7th round draft pick and the 17th CB option this season an UDFA rookie who is wearing a number that no Jet has worn since 1998 is starting over you at CB.
