Week 9- NY Jets at Kansas City Chiefs

Jets are pretty much assured of a top 10 pick in next years draft..only question now is if it will be a top 5 pick or not.

 

No, I think we locked up a high draft pick (no brainer here) , the only real question is who is going to be making these picks?

 

screw all ya....I'm gonna be at the game and get to see all the green suck-a-tude that is the New York Jest. Oh Joy.

It's not confirmed the Jets will be a top 5 pick. there are currently 8 teams with 2 or fewer wins and Oakland's schedule is ugly so they've pretty much locked up the #1 pick, barring a couple of major upsets.

The Jets can still stumble their way to a 7-8 pick.

 

and with that pick, the Jets would draft another CB.

 

I'd rather see Simms than Geno or Vick

 

I'd scream.....not if there were a CB truly worth a top 5 pick....but there isn't in this draft as far as I know....the Jets do need a CB though.

The real plus to drafting in the top 5 is even if there's not someone you're in love with in the top 5 there's a good chance someone below you is in love with someone enough to trade up in to the top 5 (depending on the draft class that year).

Last year Marathon Day in New York the Jets won a huge game against the Saints. Of course the game was at Met Life, but, you never know. Go Jets.

 

I've got a house full of KC Chief fans as all my inlaws got in last night. This is gonna be a long day. Good thing I'm smoking a brisket so my time will be split between the game and the smoker. I just hope the Jets show up and play well. Not expecting a win, but I am expecting a decent game today.

 

Not expecting a win either but, it would sure be nice to see an actual contest and not game over in the first quarter.

What an abysmal first series on D. Smith sure knows how to play small ball. Can't blame that on the corners.
