Totally agree. I don't care if that he doesn't like the Jets, as long as he treats the Jets fairly. A good example is the Mets. I'm a huge Mets fan and he's a huge Yankees fan. But I can listen to his show during baseball season because I feel the guy judges and critiques the Mets fairly. With the Giants though he never attacks them like he does the Jets. They started off 0-6 last year and didnt get anywhere near the attention or criticism that the Jets are getting now. And to be fair I think he's right on a lot of what he said today as far as the Jets performance on the field. But when your always negative about the team like he is it's not even worth taking his criticism all that seriously cause he'd still be bashing them if they were 5-3 or something.
Sandy Alderson does the same **** too...apparently all GM's think it's better to treat NY fans as if they're dumb and don't know what a rebuild looks and smells like. Thing is there's no reason this had to be a rebuilding year for the Jets. If they had played Vick from the start and gotten real NFL corners they could have been a playoff team at the very least.
There were playoff aspirations in 2013 and 2014. If this was a "rebuild" season, then nobody's job would be on the line.
You see I disagree, Francessa needs the Jets to be good for his show. The Giants for as much as they win are boring, when the Jets are good Francessa can rip the team and get Giant fans on board to rip them. The Jet fan call in and defend and of course he throws out the world famous "waitasekent" when the Jets suck he doesn't get that.
At 1-7 everything isn't great. Nothing in my post implied that. 2013 was the first year of the rebuild. Year 2 they expected improvements and progress in the rebuild, with a playoff berth if things fell their way. But playoffs were not expected for this year. This organization had a plan and for better or worse they are executing it.
I watched him on Fox and he was happy as a lark. In rare form even for him. His entire show was a shout out against the Jets. Boy was he having fun.

Changes are coming ! Anyone who believes that heads are not going to roll is delusional ! IMO we need to start from scratch and need a real personnel guy / talent evaluator in charge . I believe Rex is as good as gone and until I heard THE IDZIK speak today I thought he was safe but not now! The backlash from his press conference along with very few if any wins on the horizon and I think Woody could cave under the pressure . We deserve better not what we are currently witnessing,,,,,

That's the problem - Woody won't do this. He NEVER does this. After buying the team he kept Parcelles personell people only changing the Head Coach to herm Edwards. Then he only dempoted Parcells pick for GM, Terry Bradway, and promotes Parcells bean counter Mike Tannenbaum. After the Tebow disaster, Sanchez regression and roster depletion it was time to blow it up. But he only swept out the GM who blended personell men between the old Bradway crew and Idzik people. The entire organization should be gone top to bottom. But Woody is scared beyond belief that calling something a rebuild and doing it the right way will cost him $$$. He knows the fans will not support the team when they enter a season knowing there is no chance to compete for a playoff spot. Instead we get what we are currently seeing - a team that had no chance entering the season but dressed up to ,ook like we did.
