Look the issue here is they should have doubled down and draft we d a QB in and 1 this yr if anything he sits ana le a r n while Geno and a vet take the lumps. Now next yr because of a bad gm we are back at step one with a new qb and looking for another vet to hold the position down till the rookie learns. Another bad decision made by the gm. ironically I can't spell his name on my phone without autoauto correct changing it to idiot
it probably will be more fun than anything else going on around here - people flaming the new HC/GM, the new QB we will have drafted screwing up, more busts, more issues, same ol jets.
I would take the qb that had a brother teaching him to read defenses of geno being hone as t I would take a cadaver out there over Geno. Less likely to turn the ball over
The difference with both Teddy and Carr is they have superior football IQ to Geno. Carr has a better arm than Geno, Teddy not so much but both are more accurate and have quicker releases than Geno. But both are superior in reading defenses, pre snap and going through progressions. Both are MUCH better than Geno. And I'd take Carr over Pryor--a stud QB over a safety--every day of the week. Idzik lacked balls and should have taken one if them. _
Manziel? What a simply moronic conclusion to come up with especially considering manziel ran the same offense as Geno in college
One other quote you should look up 2 years from now. At least 5 QBs out of 2014 are better than any QB out of the 2013 draft. _
we'll have to agree to disagree there… but then I guess we just have different beliefs when it comes to drafting to begin with.
Yeah. Draft your franchise QB at the expense of every other position. Because QB is the most important position in the history of organized sports. _
LOLOL at BakerMaker trying to squirm out of it. Clown has been excusing Geno all year, why should it stop now.
Wait, you think Geno's football IQ and ability to read defenses are on par with either of Teddy or Carr? I heard a quote about Bridgewater that there is no young QB better the 5 seconds before the snap and the 3 seconds after the snap than him. And I watched a ton of Carr in college and he was somin command of that offense and what he was doing at all times- that's what really impressed me- not his gun or quick release or athleticism. Geno never did that in college. And I saw him a LOT and it doesn't appear he's gotten any better at it in the NFL. _
I just went back through some of the game threads, lol him trying to blame the receivers on the first two. _
It was a good pick no doubt about it. He just turned out to be another bad QB. We lose again, let's try again...
