It's not a very hard decision. He's a second round pick who has been terrible for 2 years, there's no way you even consider him as a serious option for 2015. If you want, keep him around to battle for the backup spot but no way should he be in the starting QB conversation. Sign a veteran and draft another guy to develop. The only issue is I have no faith in this CS developing a QB. This is of course assuming the current CS stays. If Rex gets fired forget about Geno.

He is terrible and should be benched. As sad as it is, Vick gives us the best shot at winning right now.

Exactly. It's not fair to look at games where Vick had no practice and jumped in the middle of a messed up game.

We've seen Vick play for years. He's a little better than average. Geno should not be starting for anyone. The Jets probably ruined him by starting him as a rookie. Only the rare Andrew Luck type player should start as a rookie.

There will be a mutiny if anyone on the current coaching staff remains. I'd say the entire FO needs to go as well and that includes all scouts ie Terry Bradway. I don't see any scenario where Rex Ryan returns next year unless it's as Defensive Coordinator and we both know his ego won't allow that.

I'll reiterate it here again: Don't assume that you have actually seen the last of Geno. Don't get your hopes up just yet. Rex is remarkably delusional.

I liked Geno and I thought he could be a franchise quarterback. But it's pretty clear now that he's not the answer. The Jets did their due diligence and they played him. I just hope that they learned from their mistakes. Get a veteran to hold the fort and sit the rookie for a year.

As for the rest of this year id start Simms. Not that I think he's the answer, but in our current situation we need to leave no stone unturned. Put him out there and see what we have in him.

What good is that? A lesser draft pick at best? Dammit, for once can the Jets even get sucking right!

Take a page from "Suck for Luck" and go for the highest DP you can get. Why do I get the feeling that Idzik isn't ready to throw the towel in on either Rex or Geno.....
