Its like when Brees passed Marino for consecutive games with a TD. That one was straight rigged though, that record they 100% planned in advance.
Schedule makers take everything into account. In 2010 when Ben was suspended 6 games, guess who was on SNF week 7? Pittsburgh, the Steelers were not on primetime until week 7, but of course Ben got reinstated early but the schedule makers made sure not to put the Steelers in primetime while he was away.
steelers left a minute on the clock though first and goal in that situation, I'm calling a run play either you score or you can manage the clock and make sure the other team doesn't have much time left I also think that was a terrible play call even though it worked out. 1st and goal, a few yards to go and you call that? Could easily be an INT or a loss of 10 yards
yeah that was an absurd play final 2 minutes just ridiculous wild bounce that somehow hits off one steeler and bounces directly to another steeler
I've been watching football for more than 40 years and I do not recall EVER seeing anything like that, 24 points in the last 3 minutes of the game? 21 in the last 2 minutes? and I mean the flukishness of it? A rare fumble by Foster, an interception that is deflected at the line, bounces off another defenders facemask/helmet and turns in to an interception....that's more miraculous than the Franco play in the 70's.... That was keystone cops material that even the Raiders hasn't managed to pull off.
