Excellent post and welcome...Being here in the US I am a huge soccer fan...I started to follow EPL more closely starting back in 2008 and ended up choosing Arsenal as my favorite team mainly because its a major club, Arsenal does not leave me tied to supporting a team with a city name attached to it (even though Arsenal is from North London) Another reason. I also liked the colors and they are sort of a underdog team in that group. So there are similarities in how foreign fans can start supporting a team or league. Just expect alot of suffering from the Jets, they just cant seem to deliver the goods
Hello everyone. I'm westiedog1 from Brooklyn, NY. I just joined the blog. Been a Jets fan since Namath arrived. My favorite Jet right now is #94 Damon Harrison. Free agent from a small college is doing a great job plugging up the middle of the D line.
Hey Everyone!!! I'm JETSrealMCCOY! from Rockland County NY. Been a Jets addict my whole life started with my Dad and Uncle taking me and my Brothers to the games. I'm glad to keep it going from the 300 level!!!
Hi All, I'm new to this board after 12 years on the Jets insider board. They recently switched over to scout and ruined the vibe and content. Many of the great members have left. Anyone else on here originally from Jets insider? I'm from upstate NY by way of Long Island. I've been following the Jets since the early 1980's with little to show for it. When I lived in the metro NYC area, I was a season ticket holder. We had some good times along the way - especially the 2002 green bay game and the playoff win over payton manning and the colts. I'm no longer hoping for a super bowl for the jets. I gave that idea up years ago. I would just like to see them return to play the exciting football they had in the mid-80's and late 90s. You guys have a great site and I'm glad to be here. Go Jets!
New poster here. Long time Jets fan, since the late 70's. Not a big fan of the current regime at all. I find myself rooting against the Jets weekly in the hopes of Woody waking up and cleaning house to get competent football people in here and hopefully lead us to the coveted SB.
Hi Guys, British Jets fan from back in 1984 when channel 4 ( there were only 4 tv channels then lol) started showing NFL games on a sunday tea time pretty much a highlights show, well it wasn't hard to pick the Jets as your team with Klecko and the sack exchange . Had a few seasons getting VHS tapes sent over to the UK by a company called Pontel think they were for the armed forces really but seeming whole games - wow . Jeez they were the good days, seen some ups and downs since then mostly downs lol but what can u do, the Jets get into your soul and u learn to suffer and now just when they cant get much worse they are coming to England, roll on free agency
