http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap30...el-robinson-i-broke-up-percy-harvintate-fight I think we'll be okay.
Except for the fact that he isn't. Comparison of 1st five yrs in league, 6 for Harvin, I discounted the season he only played 1 game. SH, more yards, more yards per reception, more TD's. Other than that, Harvin has it all over Holmes.
Couldn't be more wrong. Harvin's issue is purely health (and yes, it's a huge issue). For their careers Holmes has averaged 55 yards from scrimmage per game. Harvin has averaged 70. Even just isolating receiving Holmes is at 55 and Harvin is at 57. And this doesn't even take into consideration the fact that Harvin is one of the more dangerous kick returners in the league. Holmes was not the focal point of a team's passing offense at any point. He was the deep threat of the Steelers in his breakout season, but Hines had more targets and catches. In Minnesota Harvin was the entire passing offense at times - he basically played half a season in 2011 and still led the team in catches, and was a close second in targets. Harvin is the type of player/talent that you can build around, Holmes was never that player/talent - he was a terrific second WR and/or big play threat. The problem is that he's never on the field (and maybe a malcontent, too).
It takes 2 to fight. Fights happen on the field all the time. Thats a huge difference than beating your wife and comparing the 2 is ridiculous. Smoking weed and driving is also a lot less of a problem than someone beating their wife. If you dont want to root for a team because it has players with bad histories then follow hockey. The NFL is a sport full of criminals on each team. It happens when a lot of players come from horrible backgrounds.
Last time I checked, stopping your car on an Interstate Highway is a bigger issue than beating your wife as it had the potential to hurt many more people. Smoking weed before doing it shows a complete lack of judgement, character and a complete disregard for rules in general. But as long as he gets a first down, look the other way. The NFL shouldn't turn into the Longest Yard in real life just so they can make mountains of cash on the swag and the ticket sales. Then again, some folks have no moral compass whatsoever so anything goes.
This was NOT a secret. This is information that has been out there all season. Once again, we go garage picking.
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...hey-saw-no-evidence-of-harvin-not-fitting-in/ Sherman and Thomas say they saw nothing to show Percy was not fitting in.
yanno what Jetaho, I'm tired of your shitty fckn remarks and I'm gonna tell you one last time, if you got nothing to add to ANY thread I make, stay the fuck out of it. Consider this your only warning. I've had quite enough of your shit. This is your last chance. Knock it off.
