So what. We are 1-6 how much worse can it get. We gave up practically nothing to get a very talented receiver and special teams guy. If it doesnt work out we lost very little. He has a much greater chance of doing big things for us than whatever other 4th-6th round pick would have done. Complaining we dont do anything. Complaining when we do. Last "diva" WR we traded for with off the field issues seemed to work out well for us in Braylon.
He's doing it now to see if it works or not. If it's a mess, who cares, we're already one and six so better that it fucks up shit this year then next season when we should actually be back into playoff contention. If it works then we are in such a better position going into next year already. If it works then we just got a first round talent for a fourth, if it doesn't then we only lost a practically meaningless six round pick.
I'm okay with this deal now that it appears to be a conditional 6th that could become a 4th. I'm guessing the 4th is if he is on next years roster. I had issues with the deal when it was a possible 2nd round pick. But worst case scenario now is the team pisses away a 6th.
Everyone would love a guy like Julio Jones or AJ Green, but, the whole #1 receiver thing to me is a little overrated. I just want talented players at the skill positions.
The AIDS in this thread is incredible. It costs us basically nothing and we get a guy with a ton of talent. You guys are ridiculous and would find something wrong if we got Randy Moss in his prime.
