    Anyone care to elaborate on the strengths and weaknesses of the Islanders? I am fan of em but not hardcore. I have the time now to watch em so ill probably watch them a lot.

    Goaltending much improved,,,,,strength
    The defenseman after last weeks 2 trades is now a strength
    And we now have a few forwards that can put the puck in the net
    Power play has moved the puck well thus far and scored some goals,,,,, ,the kid Nelson in his second year has looked like a beast,,,,,,the Rangers are up this week at the garden ,,,this will be a good test

    It's finally fun to be an Isles fan again. They had their best off season in years, the are loaded with young talent and prospects, and have one of the best players in the NHL. The playoffs are a distinct possibility and they may be the best team in metro NY.

    Well 5 minutes left in this game and the Islanders are about to become 3 and ohhhhhh at the expense of the Rangers,,,,,,,this team is going to make some noise !
