The best defense in the NFL?

Jordy Nelson as well as the Seahawks would disagree.

i don't think were great, but i know we are for the most part young and inexperienced but still holding our own somehow. Without a #1 CB. Or even #2 at that lol. Very bright future for this young group.

If Mark Sanchez didn't get an unfair shake with this organization and wasn't set up for failure, he would be at least 3-1 with this team right now....

sanchez had a better overall team when he was under the helm. Dont forget sanchez had the best offensive line his first two years along with a great offensive cast with playmaking WR like holmes and edwards and a great possession receiver in cotchery and keller. Geno hasn't had a great offensive line nor the playmakers. Decker is a great receiver with excellent hands and route running ability but he doesn't have the breakaway speed holmes or edwards had. Kerly is a great slot receiver but Geno still needs that #2 receiver who can be the deep threat. I hope we can develop amaro into the playmaking Te we so desperately need

ESPN's NFL team stats for D. Im still too new to post the link otherwise I would.

I was wrong we're now 7th, previous to your boy Geno's last start we were fourth. . But i would put our defense against anybody.

I got killed for saying this earlier but even though it was preseason Sanchez mechanics looked improved. To hitting WRs nicely in stride, completing effective screen passes, bombs up the middle accurately, etc. Preseason or not, he looked like a better QB.

He was the better QB last preseason too.

His play as an Eagle was miles better than any preseason hes had as a JET. Again, I said mechanics. He finally gets it.

Mark Sanchez is far and beyond better than Geno, but that is not the issue at the moment. Mark can step in and lead the Eagles with ease. Not important though. Geno has struggled, but is improving. Don't give up on him yet.

This offense is not as talented as it was in 2010.

LT is one of the best pass catching RBs of his generation, Ivory struggles to catch passes. Braylon and suspended Holmes are better than hurt Decker and Nelson?/Salas on the outside. Kerley and JCO are probably the same. Keller was a better pass catcher than Amaro. OL was playing much better until the Woody injury than they are now.

Not comparable. The only thing you could say is MM is better than Schotty, but that doesn't overcome everything else. Nothing ever lines up correctly for the Jets. MM back in 2009/2010 or that talent on the team now, team is light years better and Sanchez/Geno are better

Mark couldn't step in an lead a pop Warner team with ease. He proved that many times. Geno is better in so many aspects. If Nacho was so masterful, looks like his veteran status would allow him to overtake the youthful Nick Foles.

    new to the sport eh?

If Nacho sucked why did Idzik wait to release him, so he couldn't start somewhere else?

    (common football observation)

80% CMP 2 TDs and 1 INT 113 RAT is still a valiant effort in defeat.
