LOL the bold made me almost choke on my lunch. A lot of Bills fans I know would agree with you. The funny thing is that I think Rex would probably rather the ultra conservative Manuel.
Why wouldnt it help us? Manuel is barely worse than Geno this year statistically. Genos turnovers are a a big reason why this team isnt winning games just like with EJ . Im sure there are plenty of other factors involved in why the Bills arent winning games outside of EJ too. You are are going to single out EJ, you mine as well solely single out Geno then.
Fine, I'll come out and say it even though I'll obviously take tons of heat for it. RIGHT NOW, outside of the QB position, the Bills are a better football team than the Jets
Orton isn't the future and he's not the present, they just gave up on a season to appease the fans. that's why they are the Bills.
I would agree, I think we closed the talent gap w/ them and Miami this offseason but Mia and Buf are still more talented than us, we are just MUCH better coached.
I don't blame Vick at all after being shit on all year by the staff with no real competition. Then have to listen to a coach praise the worst QB in the league. Vick knows inside that he is better and Then you wonder why he doesn't look excited. Knowing the only reason you would be starting is due to injury not because the staff wants to win or had any confidence in you. I would want my check and to get the hell out of here as soon as possible too. In my opinion he is thinking you wanted Geno so bad, here you go.
disagree. Orton is definitely not the future. But he is definitely the present. That defense is extremely good and they constantly field a strong rushing attack. They need viable QB play and they can win some games. And that's what they are hoping for in Orton because Manuel has shown he cannot get it done. and more truly they put in orton because they have new ownership and are competing for their own jobs. And honestly, so is Rex. It also just so happens that Geno sucks. Rex remaining head coach will entirely fall on his decision or indecision to move on from Geno and not 8 weeks from now. Quote me and let's come back to this after he's fired if he doesn't make the change.
I am sure he ignores other things like - yeah, that thing we call turnovers. Or comeback wins. But then facts don't really matter, do they?
Orton is awful, he will put up decent #s and that will make most think he is better than he is but he's not a guy you can win with. If rex gets fired over this that is on him. I am glad he isn't buckling to pressure from the fans/media. if there comes a time he feels the need to make a change then we'll see but we aren't losing just b/c the QB is struggling.
yet you always talk about me, if you stopped talking about me and paid attention to what I post you'd be a much more knowledgeable football fan and wouldn't post so many foolish things.
I have junc on ignore but I just want to talk about myself and pretend it's my football opinions that I am posting about. Me, by the way.
Lol, Rex can do no wrong? BS The team is a reflection of their head coach and he IS responsible to coach them and get them prepared, to adjust his philosophy to the current NFL, to make in game adjustments and mange the game well, to coach up players and develop talent. Rex does NONE of these. The reality is that our situation is ALL Rex's fault. He should be fired today.
I agree with you for sure on this and I said it at halftime. Regardless of where the loyalties lie Vick should've been given the keys in the 2nd half to try to salvage that game. I don't understand why the coaching staff is walking on eggshells with this guy or any guy for that matter. You play poorly you get sat down, it's not a personal attack it's an indictment on what you're doing on the field. If Geno's too fragile to deal with a benching then he is too fragile to play quarterback in the NFL.
