Odds are it'll be the visiting team. What's interesting is how exactly they'll melt down or blow it. And I don't remember Henery being that bad for Philly.
i would really like to see amaro get showcased a little more and build off last nites 4-54 performance. we are desperate for receiving options and need to start his maturation
I'll be in the building. Anticipating a loss honestly. Can't see us stopping Megatron, plain and simple. Team should rally around this Bears loss because I said it yesterday, we lost the game more than the Bears won it.
I actually met and got to talk to Mo today for like 5 minutes. He said he's ok from his injury and it's nothing to worry about, which is excellent news. I sit Decker and make sure Dee is 100% or I sit him again and have them both good to go for Denver and New England.
Did you also run into Dee Milliner at the mall who told you he would definitely be ready to go for the next game?
I qualified it with "healthy" because I genuinely think healthy Milliner is a good player. People can take away whatever they want from watching him, but the end of the season last year combined with the preseason action he got lead me to believe he's improved immensely. I think once he is fully healthy, which could be a little while, he could end up as one of the best players on our team. He is extremely physically gifted.
Yes, they held the packers to 7 points, but the offense only scored 10. We got 9 from our defense. Honestly, the offense hasn't lived up to their hype at all aside from the Giants game. They move the ball well, but can't seem to score many points. Stafford is just not playing very well this year yet. 3 tds, 3 INTs, 84.1 passer rating. I partially attribute that to the fact that we didn't have a kicker we could rely on at all, so Stafford tried to do too much to avoid having to try field goals. That may change with Freese gone, but who knows.
Must-win for the Jets. I think they win it, but who knows these days. Lions on the road are very beatable.
I'll give you the physically gifted part but that's about it. In order to become the best player on our team, he'd have to be consistent and available, the 2 things he's struggle with since entering the league. Also, I don't get the vibe that Milliner has those kind of aspirations. My hope for Milliner now is a) he can stay healthy enough to contribute and b) give as much as he takes, meaning he's going to give up plays but needs to make plays of his own.
If decker doesn't play they should start salas and kerley. Nelson has been useless and deserves to lose reps. He can come in on 3wr sets when kerley moves to the slot.
Mo had an autograph signing in my hometown. THAT's how I got to talk to him. I was one of the last in line so it wasn't moving very fast, so I actually got to talk to him. He's a good dude. Better than the rif raft that follows this team and calls themselves "Fans."
I was a fan of Nelson last year but he seems to have an issue with holding onto the ball this year. We cannot afford to have that - we have enough ball security issues elsewhere.
I'm actually pretty confident here. The Lions are similar to the Saints- hard to beat in their dome, but are very mediocre outside. If Milliner is ready to play, put him and safety help on Megatron. Don't let him beat us, and we'll be okay.
