I have seriously seen more pick 6's in the last 6 years than I think I saw in the previous 30 years of my life. I have had enough of it. GEEZUS FUKIN CHRIST!
Geno is good for a pick a game. I thought I mentioned this already. In case of El Nacho, picks came in bunches - 5 picks against Jills, etc. Geno? His picks are all spread apart, usually good for pick 6. But his stat line looks fine, so he will get better soon. Right? I mean, RIGHT? [I am already getting sick and tired of this retard. His mechanics isn't even top notch - AND he throws picks. What's not to like, eh?]
I swear people love to overreact. Kid's playing really well right now. He made a mistake. He's a second year QB. Panties are riding way too far up your ass bro.
Right. 2 picks. Very well. That's a little more than his usual average, but not too far from it either. One for a pick 6 - and another in the red zone. Potential 28 point swing right there. I love this QB all right.
I wouldn't say he is playing real well ,he is still making rookie mistakes.Scale of one to 10 I give him a 6
Way too critical. He's a young QB. There will be mistakes. If you can't understand that, idk what to tell you. People seem to forget that this is only his 19th career start.
Like most of Sanchez' last two seasons, I spent the entire second half of the game rooting for Geno to get injured. No, I don't feel bad about it at all. I want the team to have an opportunity to win and I'm tired of having a Bottom 5 quarterback (like we have now for over five years) playing. I have no idea if Geno has been forced on him by Idzik, or if Rex is simply that stupid, but if it's Rex' decision to play Geno over Vick, then he needs to be fired ... and I'm a huge Rex supporter. Total number of times tonight Geno planted his back foot, stepped into his throw and delivered an accurate pass leading the receiver? Zero times. Simply put, he sucks and I don't see why we have to pretend he's improving or has potential. I'd rather the team find a Division 3 college QB running the wishbone and play him instead. At least he'd have an excuse for not being able to throw the ball.
When I posted that, he had rebounded from the pick to go 13/16. That's playing pretty well. He obviously didn't finish that way, but it's still no reason to call for the guy's head. HE'S A SECOND YEAR QUARTERBACK. I DON'T KNOW HOW MANY TIMES I HAVE TO SAY THAT. Everyone wants immediate results. It simply does not work that way.
Don't turn this into a Sanchez thread. Please. If I have to tell you that not every QB develops the same way, you're not worthy of the argument..
Quick question ... who was the last NFL QB to play like the worst QB in the league for two years then blossom into a Pro-Bowler?
Considering we're only three games into his second season. He has two reliable targets. One was out this game. The play-calling didn't help either. The point isn't to make excuses. He's shown marked improvement. It's very clear. As the mistakes clear up, we'll see a different team.
