We've had 3 consecutive frustrating last minute losses to the Bears in a row. It's time to end that tonight! Dominate the Bears!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We weren't exposed last week. We lost momentum and never got it back. One play changed the game last week (and it wasn't the timeout). Cutler is turnover prone. We can win this!
10 consecutive plays changed momentum. as far as tonite, forte is the biggest concern to me. He is going to be difficult to account for in the passing game
Have to say, I'm worried about how we'll defend their receiving options. If we play 2 safeties deep, it will leave Bennett, Forte, and Holmes to pick apart the shallow field. I don't expect the Bears will even attempt to run much, but like Green Bay, they won't have to considering the shallow passing attack. The Jets have a very nice edge in the trenches. Winning this game means dominating those trenches, and winning the turnover battle. won't be easy.. the secondary needs to execute better than last week, and the offense will need to sustain drives and put up at least 24pts imo.
The Bears run game will probably largely depend on the early going. Get down early, the Bears will go pass happy. If it's close though, or they're ahead, they'll try to get that run game going. The run game has been a struggle for sure though. They'll probably try some sweeps and other gimmicks to give themselves some cheap yards.
if we can pressure Cutler like we did Rodgers we should win fairly comfortably. If not he will pick us apart w/ all those weapons.
huh? Which play was that? Id say there were plays in 2nd quarter, 3rd quarter and 4th quarter that changed the game.
There's a lot of uncertainty about the Jets at every facet of the game except run defense. Bears will not be able to run on us gimmicks or no gimmicks.
Getting QB pressure would help quite a bit i agree. Cutler gets rid of the ball quick, and i suspect we will only be rushing 4 for the most part tho (maybe with some ILB blitz). Secondary will have to step up and play better than last week.
I dont feel good about this game at all. Millner is too hurt to play and most likely so is Decker. No bueno
The INT before halftime. We lost momentum after that. If we score (especially a TD) it's game over for the Packers. We threw the INT, then they marched down and got the TD before half. Total reversal of momentum.
I don't know if it is game over but obviously our chances are greatly improved. assuming we kick a FG GB is still only down 24-16. This is a big game, we will learn a lot. that type of collapse can bury a team. will the team be pissed about last week and come out and play great or will they still be having visions of last week? we'll find out soon.
I felt better about this game 2 weeks ago, now not as much. Jets need to stop Forte then hammer Cutler hard again and again and again.
Any chance the Decker injury isn't as bad as is being reported but they just want to keep the Bears in the dark? Just a thought.
