New England looks far from done. In week one, they kept Revis on one side of the field all day and lost. On Sunday they used him the same way Rex did and now they are the top ranked passing defense in the league. They can stack the box on us and still shut down our receivers. I hate those assholes but we'll be lucky to split with them this season.
they were playing against the tandem of Matt airball Cassel and Matt slow as syrup Asiata. Then throw in the fact that Norv Turner didn't give ONE carry to the guy who has scored 4 TD's in his last 13 runs (CP) and that team pretty much quit after the FG block TD. Minny made that D look a lot better than it is.
You could replace Norv with Marty and figure out that our offensive calls this game weren't exactly mindblowing.

Don't see us winning any of them...secondary isnt good enough and the offense while improved wont keep up with any of those offenses
They go 0-5 and the papers are gonna all but push for Rex to be fired ...creating stories of locker room discontent and fighting amongst coaches....the only people to benefit will be the Giants who rarely are ever criticized or made to look foolish despite losing games
I'm going to be a darksider on this one and say 1-5, with a lucky bounce or two it could be 2-3 or a bad bounce or two it could be 0-5. I just don't like the matchups.... BUT this is the NFL and on any given day even the worst team can beat the best team so who knows.
0-5 That is, if they play like they did against the Pack - penalties, dumb play calls, stupid turnovers, you name it.
I am feeling charitable and will give the Jets the Lions game.... If the Chargers ame was in the east I'd maybe give em that one.
2-3, but we can't have a second half collapse like in GB, both offensively and defensively, if we hope to beat ANY of these five. Also, I am looking for Smith/OC to show some leadership, coaching, etc. and bring home a victory should we fall behind at home or on the road in at least one of these games.
