vs Bears vs Lions @ Chargers Broncos @ Patriots Obviously the most crucial part of our entire schedule. In two weeks, during an 11 day period will fly to San Diego, come home to Denver, then go to New England on short rest; murders row. With three of the games being at home though, I am confident we will win two of those. The road games I am not so sure about, so how do you think we all do?
I think we'll definitely win 1 with an outside chance of winning 2. That's the ceiling I give us though, starting the season 2-5. Could have been 3-4 if we didn't blow the Packers game but it is what it is.
3-2...we beat both the bears and lions, lose to San Diego and Denver and go into New England and beat New England...confidence
2-3 I think we bounce back against the Bears at home and then find a way to win 1 of the other 4 games.
What does that even mean? Anyway, I think the Jets go 2-3 during that stretch. I think they beat the Bears this week and the Patriots in Foxboro.
If we can get out of week 7 at 3-4 I really like our chances to go 9-7. I think we can beat the Bears and Lions. I think the Broncos shit on us. I think the Pats and Chargers are close losses with the potential to be wins.
Bears - Win Lions - Loss Chargers - Win Broncos - Loss Patriots - Win I see the same shit coming our way as last year (Win-Loss-Win-Loss), although with our early schedule this year I don't think anyone would complain. I think we beat the Bears just because they had the high of beating a great 49er's team in their house on opening night, and the Jets will be a pissed off team after the Packer game. Lions are going to kill us with Calvin and Tate. Nothing the Jets will be able to do. Jets for some reason always play well in San Diego and I think they will again. Broncos will beat us, but it will be much closer then expected. We go to New England on Thursday and smash the Pats in the mouth. 3-2 in those 5. 4-3 overall
Bronco's game will be close. This isn't nearly the same offense at it was a year ago. Without Decker and Welker, Manning doesn't have the mid and short range passes available that he used to have. Sanders and Thomas can get down the field but that only works so much. They are also already missing Moreno and right now are 24th in rushing when they were 15th a year ago. Doesn't sound like a big deal but those 30 extra rushing yards per game, means about 4 or 5 more 1st downs and that is a big difference.
I couldn't say it any better. There lucky to win 1 or 2 games. Now if by chance they win 2 or more of next 5 games, Rex should be credited with getting his team up & ready...& should receive an contract extension. Jets defense would look so much better if they had 1 or 2 pass rushers. Why is Rex so stubborn on that ?
