He had some good qualities. Ability to generate yards after the catch, had strong hands. I liked that guy in the draft - I like Amaro also, but the way we aren't using him - I'm a little worried. He could have helped this team.

It seems each time he's in his blocking and just blocking.

Pryor was the right pick at 18, but we missed out on some good receivers.

I understand bringing Amaro on slowly, especially since he had a horrendous summer. I think we will see more and more of him. Cumberland is just not good enough to warrant 75% of the snaps at TE and I think the coaching staff knows it. Why else would they have taken Amaro over, like you said, some good receivers?

That being said, I would have taken Amaro 9 times out of 10 over the guys we passed on in the 2nd round.

If you want to bring him along "slowly" fine, he's good reliable option in the middle of the field and we don't use him. The TEs were non-existent yesterday. All they have him do is block and it's annoying as shit. He's a pass-catcher. 1 target, 1 catch.

Instead of Sudfield running down the field, I would like for Amaro to get those plays.

I don't think Amaro is the kind of guy you can have streak up the sidelines like that. He's more of a seam guy. Sudfeld is a little quicker but I get what you are saying. I'm just saying I don't really have an issue with it right now. Get back to me in three weeks. If he's still getting only 25% of the snaps, there's an issue.

Nah, he can do those type of plays. If we wanted to get Sudfeld more opportunities, Jace should not have been the pick in the 2nd round then.

We will see in a few weeks, he better start getting more reps doesn't make sense to have him blocking all of the time.

Well Amaro was in on that play... so it's not like Sudfeld stole the snap from him.

That's not the point though. Sudfeld is not that good - I wish people would understand this already.

Wasn't Amaro the one who missed the block on the rusher who ended up hitting Geno and causing the wobbler?

I remember that being Winters, not sure if Amaro missed that block also ... that's a good question.

Amaro shouldn't be doing this shit right now, we need him to be catching passes not blocking. Have Sudfled block.

I'm really not sure but I thought it was Amaro when I was watching the game. I could definitely be wrong.

Cumberland is a huge liability in the run and pass game. We need to elevate Pantale
