Sorry, I know, yet another thread. But I'm the Wisconsin guy here, so I feel my opinion deserves merit.

1st of all, just because I also root for Green Bay does not mean I was any less upset than you guys. In fact I was probably even more upset. I had to deal with a crowd of Packer fans all afternoon/night, which wasn't fun as the sole Jets fan.

This game meant A LOT to me. All I ever hear about here is how god like the Packers are, and all week nobody gave the Jets a chance. I REALLY wanted bragging rights here, and wanted to prove to my buddies that we are to be taken seriously. All my friend's teams are SB contenders year, after year lately, and it's hard. This was the game I've been waiting for since the schedule release day.

Anyway to the actual game... This won't help matters here, but the Packers (conveniently) with the exception of today, ALWAYS get tons of flags, ESPECIALLY for holding. So WTF..

I know everyone is pissed. There was the ghost roughing the passer that I swear we get EVERY game. There was the 3rd down where the announcers said it was on the GB OL, and then it was some how on us. There was the TO clearly. There was tons of shit. My best friend told me to look at the bright side with how we kept up with GB, but that simply wasn't good enough for me after how we started. As hard as it is to see, there actually is a moral victory here, even though we all know we SHOULD have won. Woulda/Coulda/Shoulda.

GB has star power on defense. Yes they have holes. It's a very hit, and miss defense. So the sudden turn of events wasn't THAT surprising to me. I almost expected it. The fucktards that said Rodgers sucks, or isn't elite were, and are wrong. He is at worst the 3rd best QB in the league. IMO he is the best. The OL is horrible, and the Jets should have gotten more calls clearly, but the refs obviously hate us.

The bright side is this was an AWAY game, and it was against an NFC team. That bodes well for the rest of the season at least. I pretty much knew Rodgers would have a field day passing, but I still had faith we would keep it a 1 score game, which we did. Yes it was a BS loss, but who really expected to win? I didn't, although I had faith that we had a damn good chance. I obviously know the Bears, and Lions well, since I see them play all the time every year. They will not be as talented as the Packers, but I can almost say for sure that we will not win both those games. They both have very similar rosters to the Packers, except not as bad of OL, and not with an MVP QB. So take that however you want, but the games should be easier. I'm just praying for 1-1 in the next 2 weeks. I don't want to hear any more we have this in the bag BS. No game is in the bag. We're the f'n Jets.

Anyway, done ranting, thanks for reading, any questions just reply. I'll do my best.

PS. It's only week 2. Just remember that.

Are you a Jet fan or a Packer fan?

    I can't tell.

I root for the Jets 1000% more than any other team. Losing today honestly ruined my whole day.
A very, VERY small fraction of me is happy the Packers at least aren't 0-2, but it doesn't matter to me at all. I know they'll be there in the end. I can't say the same about the Jets. Plus, I read this site every single day, look at Jets news every single day, and I cannot name more than a couple Packer backups. I know 90% of the starting roster, and how they play. I know the Jets entire team. It is not even close.

Sorry, my main point is that what you guys don't realize is that the Packers get a TON of flags, yet somehow today got next to zero. The Packers are a legit SB contender, and we should have won. Those are the main points, but also I'm open for questions since I know the Packers better than anybody else here.

Flame me all you want. After this BS, it doesn't matter that much. I know I'm more pissed than you guys are. This game meant a LOT more to me.

I simply made this thread to answer questions that others cannot answer, and to give a more balanced opinion.

Hey man I've been dealing with insults on this board for a decade now. I can take it. Plus I expect anybody responding right now at 4:20 (heyo) to be wasted, so I can't take anything to heart.

    Well, it's only 2:20 here....

Rodgers looked good because our D'backs suck.

The packers aren't SB contenders and the bears D isn't as good as the packers. If the Jets lose Monday night it's going to be a long season. Also I'm not wasted, going to work.

Don't underrate them. They DID just beat the 49ers, a team that's been to 3 straight championship games.

By now you know how this board gets after a tough loss. Relax man and maybe come back tomorrow or Wednesday when we got the bad taste out of our mouths. I'm thinking maybe Wednesday as this loss was just a bit much to start a season off with.

Our D-backs do suck, but Rogers looked good because his third stringer O-Line was allowed to tackle our D-linemen the entire game. The last time I saw an o-line get an all-game free pass like that was the steelers/seahawks superbowl, when the NFL decided Jerome Bettis was the story of the game.
