I got banned for life at JI for calling out a mod who would favor posters he agreed with on the politics board for doing so. I am very proud of that. And of course forum became the prime beneficiary when i moved here.

DAMN!!! Thats awesome man!! Yeah I did 4 years of DMB!!But this year + Last year kind of made me become the Umphrey's fan I Am now to be honest. Those repeats in the setlist's kill me. Umphreys never repeats which allows me to continue traveling state to state expecting something new. But still cool to see a Jamband fan here!
I took a DMB break this year as well, but mostly because I got married and whatever money we had, we definitely weren't about to spend on seeing the same DMB show night after night. My ride with Umphrey's has been up and down. Absolutely loved everything up until Mantis, couldn't stand anything they did the next three years, and now I'm roped right back in with Similar Skin. Can't wait to get back to a UM show. Either way, I won't bore all of the other people here... welcome!
Very lucky always wanted to catch the original Dead in concert, I've seen Further once and there were ok Lmao I understand that, Similar Skin was really great !! I agree Death By Stereo wasn't the best studio album but lots of those songs sound great live !! My next UM show is two nights in Boston for Halloween. Yeah, the actual site is shutting down but I think all of the posters and functionality is being transferred to a new site. I think it's still going to be called J I. _
Umphpool do you think that JI members are going to jump off the Scout site and look for another spot? Honestly unless the functionality of the Scout site is improved I think the JI folks will be turned off by it big time
yeah it is very limited in what you can do. Even the Beta Forums which are supposed to be better are hamstrung. It's a forum interface from about 10 years ago
Your telling me its awful !! and Sooth said they tried to buy the website for a decade you would think they would build a better site I mean the majority with the exception of the select few are gonna jump ship and either come here, Jetsnation or FootballsFuture. Or just stick to Facebook or Reddit. Alot of them are staying on Jetsinsider until it officially shuts its doors. Im getting a head start here and meeting everyone before the season officially starts.

Seems like a bunch of JI posters are livid at the move. Really heated discussions over on JI about it. The reason I disliked the JI forums was because it seemed more like my wife's forums like TheBump and the Knot and BS like that. A bunch of slags trolling each other and bullying. Just seems weak. So yeah Scout was very tame but all we talked about was football. Very little off topic discussion and no asshats in general. I just hope there isn't a huge influx of douchery here due to this. Yeah I'm new so I'm not trying to defend this site or anything or act like this is my territory it would just be cool to find a board where people just want to talk Jets football and not act like kids. It seems like this is the place. hoping.

Well you always will have your...Same Old Jets fans vs. New Age Jets fans debate. At least you weren't here for the Sanchez era...The tug of war between both sides at times gave me forum diarrhea.
