Where have you seen him demonstrate good body control in any sense of the phrase? I've watched the same games you have and aside from catching a couple in the basket balls against the god awful Bills secondary, he has barely produced at the NFL level. Even watch his big plays against the Bills and the constant is that the guy is ALWAYS catching the ball with his shoulder pads, and even adjusts himself to put his body into position to do so, so he doesn't have to use his hands. That's a terrible sign.

You're absolutely crazy if you think teams have put extra coverage on Hill's side, and I would guess that these were simply cover 2 type schemes that fooled you into thinking they needed double coverage on him.

It's not just about having the ability, but more so in essence just being a football player. You can see it when some players have it and you can see when some don't. Even terribly unpolished receivers that go on to successful NFL careers show some flashes in separation and playmaking ability. He reminds me a lot of Troy Williamson, who was drafted I believe #7 by Minnesota some odd years back. Loads of speed, made a killing in college's on wide receiver screens without much success elsewhere and was out of the league in a couple years.

Another problem with him is that he uses too much of his body to make plays. He doesn't have naturally good hands, so if he tries to catch the ball away from his body then he usually drops it. Whenever there's a ball thrown high, you'll see him jump up to get the ball into his torso in order to secure the catch. It's impossible for him to fully utilize his great size if that's how he makes plays on the ball. Guys like Calvin Johnson and AJ Green (who have comparable measureables) just outjump defenders and hall the ball in with their hands. No matter how tall you are, you aren't going to win contested balls if you're trying to get your CHEST to the height that the defenders HANDS are at.

Edit: lol, you made the same argument I did while I was in the process of typing it. You get my point though

If it doesn't crunch, it isn't bacon.

Cool man. We were around the softball fields/bmx track a lot during that time. The shores around Hickam are beautiful.

Is taylor ham sold all over the country. Apparently, it's a NJ thing - you can order at most bagel shops - but when I lived in NC there was one spot on the shelf of one grocery store that sold it.

I remember the bmx track, that was a cool place. During the summer we used to walk along the rocks to get past that break along the flight line to get past the hammerheads on the beach. They weren't aggressive, but I got bit twice by baby hammerheads just waiting for summer waves. Good beach, just not good waves.
